First target for this season is achieved. Kim has his SB skill set up for now. I hope for an ID up next week and after ASG break I will switch his training. It is time to get some guard skills


It's about time. I really thought training was slowing down for him. Time to learn how to dish out assists (wait, he already knows that ...) ;)

Haha, I'm always glad when I just have to look at the boxscore afterwards. And still I almost got a heart-attack ;) Congrats on that well deserved victory. How many 3OT-Games did you have as a coach until now? And how many with the U21?

Fun fact: ES Lee is the only player how didn't get a single minute despite 3 OTs and a couple of players fouling out/ almost fouling out. He might have needed a fourth OT. But I'm glad the game played out in our favor without a minute for him

To add to our fortunes. 'Nam crunched against Singapore.... and lost! That was a close one... they played it smart and crunched but it just didn't go their way... or else we'd be sitting on the outside looking in.

But as for now... we're looking pretty good... just gotta close it out against Pakistan. Let's bring our A game and close it out strong! please ..... please please... don't make it a tight game... (-__-)

Despite his game shape, there are a lot of records on the line for Kim. So I'll keep him in the lineup this week. Especially when it's just a scrimmage this week.

I'll need him at his best for next week against Pakistan

Records are more important than wins. For now ;) But I wouldn't object to a win against Pakistan AND some nice records

HT Kim became the 2nd player to score 2400 points for the korean NT. But he might not be the second to reach 2500 if JD Shin continues to score like he did this season. Only if JD Shin continues to score like he did in the last game^^

Next Monday, if HT Kim plays, he'll get even with the YH Lim. And I'm rather amazed that I didn't see that JS Song somehow also manages to enter the Top 10 in more than one category. 146 games played (and counting), might get past SB Lee (probably not Kang and HS We). And he entered the top 10 in total assists. Not bad for a Center. And if I remember correctly (will have to look at some screenshots I took a couple of weeks back), he kicked out BY Nam, the only other Big Men in the top 10 for assists.

And JS Song is also in 2nd place for total rebounds. But I guess he won't surpass SB Kim. I guess this really is a "personal record season". Not just for the U21-Kim

Talking about Passing.

Well, it's not a strong suit for Korea players. Even more so with our two current PG being 35 and 36 y old.


30 Assits today, not bad. And I'm surprised. I really thought HT Kim would go for a lot of assists this season, trying to get as close as possible to SB Lee. But now he has started to score again in the last two games, trying to stay ahead of JD Shin. But because he scores, he doesn't get as many assists any more ... even though JS Song shows that you can lead the team in scoring and assists ;)
