No big deal. I've really only have two trainee's and I'm sure they will get the rest of their minutes in garbage time with my cup game this week.

That was a long week of work and not a lot of sleep. It's more appropriate to point out that GS played a much better game and benefited from the switch to 2-3 zone. Better coaching = better wins! Good luck the rest of the way.

Only one NBBA team out of the cup so far, I was hoping that we might see a couple more of them drop out before the all star break to so that we might get a couple Div II teams with deep cup runs. Maybe we will see some upsets this week?

Leading by 16 early in the second quarter when Easley, the (now previous) leauge's leading scorer foul's out after 14 mins. Was down 1 with under 2 mins to go, end up losing by 10. at home. on tv. Kind of a perfect microcosm to explain how my entire season has been progressing. Looks like I'm bound for a qualifier, no matter what I do. My only saving grace might be to have all y'all continue to make cup runs so you start throwing games against me.

you also had a pg that went 35 pt and 11 ass shooting over 60% out of no where
my star pf had 4 fouls vs 5 for Easley in 1st qtr
i don't think this 2-3 zone works that well
it was like a layup drill for both teams

Um, you played a back-up guard as your starting PG, so his "break out" game wasn't exactly out of nowhere. He simply isn't good enough to lead a team in this league, more of a role player that is 'good enough'. But when he plays against inferior competition, just like any other player at any other position, he will show off some of his skills.

The difference between our starting PF? Mine fouled out after 14 mins, yours finished the game with 4 fouls, played 47 mins, and lead your team in scoring. With mine still in the game, your's was 3-7 with 7 points. After the 14th min when he didn't have to face my best player, he was 14-17 for 28 points.

My backup pg has same defense ratings as primary. He just can't pass that well. As for the fouls I think my front court has more fouls than yours combined if u take out the intentional ones in the last min. I guess the 2-3 zone makes pf defends a lot more jump shots rather than inside shots. And this 2-3 doesn't stop layups from guards at all which is def wrong. Gl to your season

Your pf avg 3.8 pf a game my avg 2.1. So I guess when my guy has 4 and your guy had 5 after a quarter. It is evenly but fairly awful.
