Wolph... BB games are pre-simulated too. The actual result generation would take probably less than seconds, and is probably reverse-engineered, just as HT. Outcome worked out, then plays generated to fit that outcome. Doesn't really matter each way... all you're viewing is a real-time representation.
All you've displayed in the previous comment is a lack of understanding in the intricacies involved. The very fact that you ignore the impact of the midfield (HUGELY important) and strategies is fairly ample proof of that. Could go into detail about what impacts the game's outcome in HT, but you've already made your mind up - that much is a certainty.
