True, but next arena game he should get more money and then he should buy trainees then rather than wait for the whole season and waste his level 6 trainer.

Next draft is still a good 10-11 weeks away. Having such a high trainer for average trainees is such a waste. You're better off in buying this trainer when you've actually got the trainees rather than the other way around in buying a trainer first and hoping to find trainees.

Too bad he has already bought it lol.
Still plenty of time to get at least a half decent trainee. Salary of the trainer is low, so I recommend keeping him for a long time.

He already has half decent trainees just not good ones. His has some young guys which are 18/19 but only starter/star potential. Not ideal if you want them to be long term trainees as they will reach their cap a lot quicker.

yeah now that he has bought him, he is better off holding on to him and make the most out of it

Exceptional trainer is very good, and this exceptional has a "dream" current salary. You could have him on your team for at least 4 seasons. After that his salary will be around 60k/week (I think). At that point consider your economy. His annual salary will be around 900k. If you think it's still manageable keep him that season but also keep some money for your next trainer.

Also, very important. Trainer is good when he is on duty :) So be sure to secure maximum trainees for this season. If you're short in trainees, and have some money left, check the TL. You can find some decent 18y, allstar-perennial allstar potential for around 200-400k everytime you check the TL.

Also target which player on your roster will you sell next season. Train him alongside (13195286) (who you said is your main training target). He will improve. Next season he'll worth higher in the TL.

This is off-topic discussion with no definite answer. What will give you greatest team weekly gross increase is very relative. If your team needs FT or stamina (which I doubt) then surely team training FT or stamina will give you that. But I'm strongly against team training. Training is for improving your players in order to a. sell them at higher price and b. improve your team. What every team should do is balance between a. and b.

Right. I agree. But I'm just curious when you look at each individual training regimen (excluding FT's, Stamina and Game Shape), what the expected gross would be for say a superior trainer. Though each individual would get less training, maybe as a group of 3, 6, 9 or as a team, you'd get more training as a relative gross number? For example, when training passing, you could train just PG or PG/SG or Team. I'm sure everyone would suggest either just PG or PG/SG, but there are times when I'd like my bigs to be incrementally better passers. If I thought that training as a team, I would have a higher gross number, it would make it easier to justify doing the team training in some of these special cases. Though I agree, 1 or 2 player training is generally the best way to go.

Ok hopefully this makes some people happy.

I just bought a player, and plan on selling on of my other trainees.

I don't know if I can discuss the one up for sale, but my others guys are more similar to keep on a training schedule if I go for all training all 5.

I just got this guy:

Weekly salary: $ 2 742

DMI: 5100
Age: 18
Height: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: average
Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: average
Driving: respectable Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: awful Free Throw: average

Experience: atrocious

His jump shot should at least improve when training inside shot. Plus, I was getting sick of wondering if my 6'8 guys were being held back by height, so I wanted to make sure he was tall enough. I've also bid on another big with perennial allstar potential. Might as well make sure I get the most out of my trainer.

Does anyone else have an exceptional trainer and have any resluts? Like pops per season?

Thanks

I don't think the trainer was a bad investment. A team of star potential players fully trained would probably put you middle of the road to higher in Div 3. Plus it will help him get them there faster. I for one cant wait to hear how this approach works for you. Good Luck.
Also like Reddaddy said if you train these guys up and sale them at the end of the season get some xtra cash get a couple good draftees and buy 2 or 3 more good draftees all the sudden at the end of next season you have 5 really good trainees on your team and are moving up to div 4.

It's nice when all your guys need training in the same skill. I'll see how many trainees will work. I've usually done a solid 5 and don't feel like messing with the minutes part.

It's amazing how good the team is that is ahead of me in the standings compared to everyone else. Must've started with a great team.
