Billot and Hamid big game drowned Showstoppers at their home 110-100.

Seems BKT were overexcited for a new year eve showdown. Their leaders were possesed.

Arnauld Billot scored 38 points, and NT player Abdul Hamid racked 29 points and 7 assists to lift the hot shooting BKT team to wear out Showstopper perimeter defense.

BKT steadily led the 1st Quarter with 34-22 thanks to Hamid's hot hands. SS refused to trail deeper, kept the deficit between 10-15 points but was frustated of BKT's defense, thanks to little Sapian, Ahmad Islam and Lim Shi Xin presence. SS finally able to pull within six on final 4 minutes. But Arnauld Billot kept answered of whatever SS gave. Adolfo Gasol last try made his trey to pull 100-103 in final 20 seconds, but little Sapian quickly answered with a clutch power layup to pull it away. SS run out of gas and BKT run away with victory.

Bidi has double double, 14 points and 10 rebounds. Vitomi Wolf scored amazing 10 points with only 9 minutes playing.
Silvester Lešinek led SS with 28 points and 18 rebounds. Gasol has 23 points and 11 rebounds, Ong Yi Ying scored 20 points and Noel Lima had 19pts and 18 rebounds. By the rebound numbers, it's clear that SS has won the rebounds battle with BKT 54-37.

Power Ranking For 2014 and preview

Happy 2014 everyone. Start of the season 26 hope bring everyone a new excitement to talk about. With STN, NANDA gone bot, the great 8 started to shake up the league for bit, where everyone is eyeing their own mission and goals. Here are the power ranking after 2 games and preview.

Star: Lee Min Chin, Vrisan Sharma, Bengt Öer and Liad Saglovic
Remark: SHP make a souding come back after missing a period of time. some public notice that the SBA(Singapore Basketball Association) were busying check the manager in the front office. Nevertheless, SHP make a strong impact in the pervious season with revamping player and bring Lee Min Chin and Vrisan Sharma to his arernal. However, With the fair play rule make by the Global Basketball Association, there might be a challenge to keep his roster.

Lionheart Jaguar
Star: Fan Ping wai, Sewerian Wawruch , Momo Makhlav
Remark: With a fail Ng huat campaign in season 25, Jaguar looks to to revamp the roster to suit for the SBBL. Having Wawruch and Makhlav 2 talented player, Jaguar now sitting comfortably at rank 2 in the league. With the rising of Fan Ping Wai, the young point guard specially coach by U21. Aiming to be the next big thing in the league.

NEWBak Ku Teh Kings
Star: Lim Shi Xin , Irfan Bakti Abd Hamid, Ahmad Islam and Sapian bin Bidi
Remark: Learning from season 25 mistake, Kings aim to change the SBBL history by bringing another local guard. The depth of the roster is hard to predict as they might be the hot favorite team in season 26.

EricUnited
Star: Nasser Tahrani, Augusto Gomez, Dharmakeerti Kumar
Remark: history speak by itself, no words can describe how strong this team is. A target for all local team to beat. EU looks forward to take down season 26 champ again.

Lions XII
Star: Chung Wen Xin, Fu Loong Wei, Mo Jian Ting
Remark: Surprise and Surprise. After the great Singapore sale in season 25. No one expected lion xii to be the winner in this run. With the strong big 3, Lions XII might be the most surprise team in the league.

Star: Brice Lemesle, Eliran Tabrizi
Remark: Making a strong start of the season. Having a nice lead with a 2-0. Looks forward to see far can it go.

Shooting Stars(YOG)
Star: Gražutis Ješkevičius
Remark: Having a nice balance team in div 2. YOG team have to start upgrade the team as the level of play is harder in sbbl.

Compassvale United
Star: Edi Rušin, Mogens Schmeichel , Tanausu Galeno , Yeo Tse Hui
Remark: Having a poor start of the week with a 1 win and 1 lose. CPU without might changes in this few season, looks to use the same roster again in season 26. However they might need to redraw the plan as it might not work the way it wanted.

SG Young Guns
Star: Goh Kwang Cheng, Fong Long Meng
Remark: With this 2 twin tower on board, SYG make a good stand telling everyone they are not new in the league. solidify the front court, SYG looks to deeper the back court ensure the rim is safe and sound.

Shohoku Backers
Star: Hélder Brasão, Dmitry Sapsay, Kwek Jin Jin
Remark: Veteran team with strong frontcourt. Challenge everyone who dare to attack inside. Kwek Jin Jin has the potential to be one of the great big man in the league. Watch for SB as they still a strong team not to be miss.

Singapore Showstoppers
Star: Zheng Chen Yu, Ang Kok Loong, Noel Lima
Remark: Has all the formula to make this team works, Having a poor start with 0-2. SSS might need some changes as their puzzle might not be completed.

Remark: Yes. It him. After jaguar break off from the league. HXS when alot of places after settle in Singapore slingers. However, SBC still need huge upgrade before to make a stand in the league.

Remark: Might be too early for him to come, another team that need a true star to help in the offense and defense.

Flyer sonic
Star: Yap Jing Sze, Peh Jian Long, Li An Wen
Remark: Yes, is the sonic team. Again sitting at the bottom of the league. Like the Nets and Knick still stuggling in the league. The only different is they are on the mission to groom player to change the roster.

HP Baller Phenom
Star: Keenan bin Suutin,
Remark: Dun be surprise, HP might be the team to surivce the regulation. With their talented big man Anthony Davis to build around. They can be a big treat in the future league.

The Splashers
Star: nil
Remark: Why they are here, no1 knows the reason. They just get unlucky to stand in between the giant teams. Unless they can work with magic to the roster.
