Personally, I agree with everything here, except, I think that you shouldn't have to be a supporter to have the secondary team. I think that to start the team, you should be a supporter, but I think when it runs out, you should still be able to keep your team.

I voted "yes" because i like the general idea of having a second team.
The problems several users mentioned are obviously there, especially concerning national team farms.

(Work in Progress:)

I would like the idea of an internatioal (women-)league.

Leagues:
Let's say we pick continental leagues. Every european manager is able to generate a team in "europe" (wow what a sentense) and same for every other continent (or other meaningful combinations of countries)
All these teams play together in a league-system with (let's say) 4 or 5 divisions. All teams should start in the lowest division and the bots from the higher divisions get replaced by promotion (up to all 4 semi final participants as long as there are bots to replace).

Draft:
Draft works same way as with the normal (male) leagues exept with additional multiple citizenship. (additional to the teams country also an additional random citizenship). This would provide interesting combinations for national teams. (temporary idea: As long as no non-scrim national game is played for a player both nationalites may call said player into their respective team.)
If a league consists of "x" teams from country "a" and "y" teams from country "b" ..... then there should be x players with secondary nationality "a" and accordingly y players with sec. nationality "b" .....
Additionaly 16 players get random (depending on continent) secondary nationalities. This would make up to 2/3 of all the players multi-cultural.
With this system even smaller countries without many users can get their own national team going.

Trade:
As there are just female players in the additonal continental leagues the players can't be traded to regular teams. But can be bought form secondary-team to secondary-team.

National Champion:
Naturally there won't be a normal national champion because there can only be one champ. National Champion should be the highest ranked team all over the devisions. If the extreme rare case should occur that 2 teams in the same division (let's say one in III.2 and one in III.6) got the same winratio and the same point difference then the worldrank determines the national champ.

I welcome every kind of input!

That would be a horrible idea. Then people would only pay for supporter once just to get the secondary team. The whole point of this idea is to increase and more importantly retain BB's revenue, not decrease it. Supporters should be continually paying to keep that secondary team.

An opinion coming from a non-supporter.
A 60% vote seems to be a high percentage of the total. To me this seems like a strong majority vote. I put my support for the idea.

Why I believe having two teams will improve the game:
Will allow for more competitive smaller nations.
Will give older users the fun of re-creating a team.

The only suggestion I have is to allow the user to choose which B3 team he gets to use if he has two qualify rather than restricting B3. Why? Because I believe competition will improve the micronations rather than hurt them. Also, some people may take 15+ seasons to reach B3 level in large nations, while in small nations in may only take 8+ seasons. All in all the greater competition will lead to more users in micronations which I believe will help the user community more than hurt. I am a firm believer in competition making the game more fun even if it means a foreigner may end up as the top team. However, if it truly becomes an issue, you could set a term limit on how many times a team can be in the B3 consecutively.

One other suggestion would be to allow micronations to have up to 15 non-users for one user so as to create a full Div I. Mainly this is to provide each micronation at least 1 competitive division. This should attract more users overtime IMO.

Other than that, I believe this will improve competitiveness overall. So I think its a great idea.

I think running a Utopia country and placing all second teams there would be the only option.
Absolutely!

It would give the feel of a B3 where good managers from around the world compete against each other.
I really like this. It would also create a new economic state. Perhaps it could be added that there are no Free Agents, too?

No matter how it happens though, I am willing to pay for a second team.
Nope. I would seriously consider quitting if there were loads of other country's managers coming to play in Oz, not for lack of competition, but because cheating would just become waaaay too easy.

I will definitely continue paying supporter (and encourage others) to have a second team in a highly competitive league!

You are lithuanian. I can say there is already many lituanian playing in England or other UK league. It's hard to say at which point they are culturally integrated to those countries, but some for sure, not that much.
Then let's scrap countries altogether?

There are some ideas being floated around in here that will get lost, so if you have a different suggestion, post it in the Suggestions forum. This includes Utopias, colleges, women's leagues, etc. None of those will be happening if this change is implemented, so there's no need to mention your support of them in this thread. They are irrelevant distractions.

I keep hearing all these fears of rampant unchecked cheating. I honestly think this change would reduce cheating because BB would have mechanisms to prevent using the two teams in any combination effort.

But I am actually curious what exact cheating people think is going on now and how this proposal will add/subtract from it. Because other than occasionally seeing a team overpay for another team's players (which I have reported and seen both teams frozen shortly thereafter), I can't really envision what these fears are all about.
