I do not want to spin this into a Patient debate but here it goes anyway:
Driving enables a player to take more shots due to him being able to get open.

This is why most of the examples of Patient being successful are guards/SF's/PF's who take advantage of a big mismatch.
It would be interesting to see if a center, who has a high driving skill (along with handling) but low JS, could be effective in a patient strategy when put into the PG position.

The closest example I could find is this is:

(23220925)

The problem is, the game took part 10 months ago and it was not Patient but Base Offense.

Just watching the games live, I've come to the conclusion that driving is a fairly important attribute for every position. Of course some of the more experienced managers might have a different opinion on that.
