I can tell you this....when I add another big for the BB3, watch out....I got some guards that can actually shoot(in fact, I will be running R&G tonight). There will be only You,Stunners and myself. And the problem with Kawaguti is that he doesn't have any trainees...Isehara does..and I don't see Isehara falling off...but he better hope he has some OD from 1 through 4 tonight. I will be starting a 15-13 at PG, a 15-17(your old boy) at SG and a 16-15 at SF and a 13-5 at PF
I told everyone that I didn't want the double, but I'm not rolling over and giving games away. In fact, I predeict two upsets over here...I think Swossh can get Kawachikubi , and it will be bombs away in my game..
In fact..my prediction is that My game will be the most exciting...R&G vs Motion..whens the last time that has happened in the playoffs.

I think both of you are selling the "new guys" short... and maybe overestimating some of the "ol' timers". "History", and what you expect in the future is irrelevant. Other than looking at what young players a team has, *expectations* are completely opinion.
I know Swoosh will probably have something to say about this, but his record vs the B8 this season was anything but stellar. He lost to me, he lost to Kyoto, he lost to Shinaga... and he lost to KA-BOOM.

At the moment... ONLY at the moment (because... what else counts?), I would have it:
1. Stunners
2. Kawaguchi
3. FCTB
4a. YC (not completely sure I shouldn't have Pistons here!)
4b. Isehara
6. NKRK
7. Shogun
8. Swoosh
...

By my count, I would have Shogun as being 4th in the G8, if he were there. Maybe 3rd.
Now... open the floodgates of contention!

Shoguns 3rd.....**Malice pulling his balls out of Shogun's mouth** "Did you hear that"???

No..Shogun isn't and couldn't be 3rd over here. .and Kawaguchi 2nd...Yes, he made it to the finals last season and he did make it to the final of the CUP this season...but I wouldn't put him second. Isehara and myself at 4th...we are starting to be rivals...in fact, I think he will be my Rival next season instead of Swoosh....
And don't forget...interconference is a bit skewed due to cup games...
BTW....I love you MAN!!! And I am rotting for you tonight...I hope you CT Wolph....Remember..a win tonight get 50% agan Saturday...

Here are the rankings from the rankings page..
            Team Country Rank World Rank
Fire Country Trail Blazers 1 74
Kawaguchi Werewolves 2 435
Kitakyushu 3 456
Kyoto Shogun 4 527
Stunners 5 753
Swoosh 6 1111
Isehara Pistons 7 1612
Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings 8 2929
Okayama Chon 9 3237

Really? CR/WR? Come on - posting that proves what exactly? I mean - other than giving yourself an uppercut as it puts Toranaga a lot higher than you've got him. I guess I should thank you for that.
Cheers.

You both cherry-pick a bit with regards to which ranks you put up. What was your win/loss record this season YC? Oh... same as mine. Where'd you finish this season Wolph? Aaaah... a slot below Stunners.
Point is, one particular rank/section/whatever doesn't tell the whole story... does it?

And root for me... go nuts. However, I have my PL final this weekend, and that I do have a chance of winning the whole thing in. I gotta see the big picture.

The funny thing is that atleast 4 teams entered this offseason with 7 didgits in the bank account, including me.
I know you feel that your team is up and coming, and it is.....but if you look under the hood of some of these teams to see their financial picture, trainees.... stuff like that. You'll be suprised I think.

Wolph? I can see just as well as you can as far as "other teams" go... meaning both of us know very little beyond speculation.

Sheesh... dude, last season you guys were a) all hue & cry about my start, b) suggesting that I'd probably demote... I finished exactly where I said I would (5th), and this season I've made the playoffs. I'm fine with that.
I'm well aware of not being in the upper echelon, but take me or any of those just below the top tier lightly at your own peril. A few have done that already to their own chagrin.

I could give a f*** about WR and B3 performances. I'm talking about right here, right now. And on that, I don't have you on the same rank as Stunners. You can cry up a storm about that, I really don't care. Beat him... then you have the right to beatcha chest a lil'. I don't really give myself much of a shot tonight, but I have other games to play - it's all cool...

You guys are pretty easy to fire up.

Well done Wolph, everything prior went into my favor... but R&G simply isn't a realistic option vs a *better* team. I'm glad the BBs are looking at SB, as I'm hoping it brings LI back to the playing field.

Looking forward to watching you & Stunners go at it.

Well, think of it like this....Wolph was worried about your game, If he weren't, he wouldn't have run a BLANK line up. But he did steamroll you last night.
Ok..let's look at those rankings you posted again....
At the moment... ONLY at the moment (because... what else counts?), I would have it:
1. Stunners
2. Kawaguchi
3. FCTB
4a. YC (not completely sure I shouldn't have Pistons here!)
4b. Isehara
6. NKRK
7. Shogun
8. Swoosh

Here are my revised rankings

#1. Stunners(Superman)
#2. FCTB(General Zod)
#3. Kawaguti(If it weren't for Ueda getting hurt, I would be playing Swoosh on Saturday)
#4. YC(No 4a 4b crap...I beat Isehara at his house running R&G)
#5. Swoosh(almost beat Kawaguti without his best two PG's on the road)
#6. Isehara(If he would had started Kenney, it could have been closer)
#7. NKRK(the other day I thought I saw a 500 yen coin on the ground, when I went to pick it up it was a pachinko token)
#8. Shogun(Like the Bobcats or Suns, ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSolicious)

I have a question for the Great 8....Why didn't Kawaguti or Isehara beef up? Did they think a 600K roster was going to get it done. At least Swoosh beefed up but the loss of Eguchi the day before the playoffs and the loss of Ueda in game was his undoing. Kawaguti has the same team that I beat in the Cup Final.....Looks like Saturday is going to have two good games...
