Shohoku Backers revamp rosters, bring home Singaporeans to wear Shohoku Jerseys

Now few teams that has follow Singapore FCs footstep, even veteran teams Shohoku Backers decide to raise more local fans by bringing home some hometown players. Manager Rane is smart enough to lobby few of young blood in Ambrose Stimol, Kwek Jin Jin and sharpshooter Neo Ying Jia.

Ambrose Stimol is a fair defender and good slashers. Adopted by belated Phantomech, he was a bloomer in early 19yo. However, Phantomech was retired and Ambrose were abandoned. Under SHB care, he is expected to pick up where he left two seasons ago.

Kwek Jin Jin is another strong SGP product for the middle force. Has strong feel on the Low Post game and expected to be the fan favourite on the court.

The last acquisition is 28yo Legendary Marvelous Sharpshooter Neo Ying Jia, averaging 43.9 ppg in season 24. He is expected to light out SBBL on next season.

Omg really glad to see Ambrose Stimol back in the local game, especially with Shohoku Backers, a really experienced and veteran team in the SBBL.

Really regretted not being able to retain him and develop him further due to my economic crisis, but I wish SHB and him all the best nonetheless.

I'm really kinda broke from the acquisition. Like GSS..

The most busiest team might be the shooting star YOG.. Adding another young PG Gražutis Ješkevičius into their roster. The most favourite team to go SBBL this season. When ask about sonic front office.. No latest news other than developing young kids for the team.

If there is an most improving team award, it should be the kings. Just spending for 3 season, they are now one of the strongest team in SBBL. Surround with deep support cast, kings is a special team that make unexpected result. Another team will be the lionheart jaguar. Back from a long sleep in div 2.1, jaguar bring his team into a new height agasint all the odds and going straight for the playoff in a season.

S24 Playoff Preview

EricUnited vs Esplanade BC
Old rival, but still Eric stand best chance due to HCA and star studded starting lineup. EBC will rely on their triple tower attack to ground Eric's Simavi Duyu. Winner : Eric

NBKTK vs Shohoku Backers
What a season for NBKTK, from an underdog to became an HCA owner at playoff. Finally little Sapian & EngHeng have a chance to taste the playoff semifinal. This game supposedly going to be fierce, but SHB has spend all the enthusiasm to beat EricUnited on their last game. Edge : NBKTK

Compassvale United vs Singapore FC
Another classic match. However, Singapore FC still remained low profile on this season, but keeping their defense stingy as usual. Expect a low scoring match on this one. Edge : CPU

SaungHninPwint vs Lionheart Jaguar
No brainer. After Emilio Campos went down last night, SHP will have an automatic win and extra enthusiasm to go for Semifinal. Edge : SHP

S24 RL Highlights

NANDA vs XingZheng
NANDA own HCA, but that doesn't matter for XingZheng. Deploying a good defensive stance and SBBL leading scorer Wolf Volonte. Expect plenty of surprises from this match. Edge : NANDA

SG Young Guns vs Singapore Showstoppers
Another interesting match. Old Guns vs Young Guns. Showstoppers own HCA, but Young Guns have the talents. Edge : Showstoppers

Haha, cpu confirm will win me... no way for my current team to fight with him..

Eric will win sbbl title.. unless, he decide to give cpu a gift to b3 next season. Haha

Biggest surprise on 1st round Playoff

Surprise #1.
SaungHninPwint vs Lionheart Jaguar

Final : Lionheart Jaguar 96 , SaungHninPwint 92
No Emilio Campos, but still pulled out the epic playoff victory with equal effort at opponent court. Maybe that's the determination spirit, because manager Bigben can't figure out what made that miracle.
Franciscze Sklorz gave everything he could, scoring 54 points, while Fan Pingwai erased four points deficit in the OT, then finally Halim Mohd Noor iced the victory with pair of clutch Free Throw to make it 96-92. Jaguar will face CPU in semifinal.

Surprise #2.
NANDA vs XingZheng
NANDA own HCA, but that doesn't matter for XingZheng. Deploying a good defensive stance and SBBL leading scorer Wolf Volonte. Expect plenty of surprises from this match. Edge : NANDA


Final : XingZheng 95 , NANDA 82.
As expected, NANDA advantage spell were easily silenced by XingZhen. Armed by Roger Barbara 28pts and SBBL leading scorer Wolf Volonte 25pts, XingZheng speed up for early huge lead and never turned back. NANDA most likely will be relegated back to division II, as the next game will be at XingZheng court, where Singapore best player Fang Shuang Xiang are the beast playing at home.
