i looked at it from another angle: if 3-2, like you and nachtmahr proved, can efficiently defend LI AND outside tactics (given the right players). Then we will maybe see teams that play 3-2 all the time. this will then cause even harder times for 3pt shooters.

you can argue, that if you play 3-2 on the other hand you may be able to play with slightly less OD at the guard positions because the 3-2 zone gives you a bonus at defending outside anyway. this enables the team which is playing 3-2 to play good shooters.

but you said even in this case you still favor OD.

and your SF will need a lot of OD too, so you will want to swap some shooting in favour of his OD ... again this is just theoretically, but it may signify hard times for 3pt shooting teams to come.

but lets see if JR proves as useful on a high lvl like SB does before we jump to conclusions. maybe there is a team out there who will experiment with it.

also I doubt that everyone will adopt your tactic and play 3-2 and GDp inside from now on. there may not be enough players to copy it

I´ve got a 17/16 SG who shoots 28% 3-points in league 2. It´s just not right, that there are no good 3-Point-Percentage because of the missing of high-range players. Instead, there are no high-range-players because the 3-point-shooting in Buzzerbeater is crap and doesn´t work, as it should be! And my team isn´t even playing against lot of 3-2 zones - u just need a little bit OD to kill all outside-teams even with m2m.

I totally agree that Jump Range as a high salary attribute, should give a little more, just a little % more. That would also work getting people focus out of inside game.

Well, it´s no big deal to shoot 9 of 10 3-Point-Shots if ur opponent is getting only an OD rating 9 (low) even with 3-2 and right GDP. Look at ur BBB-performance this year, and u get another image with high-quality games, not with weak Swedish league opponents. He´s got 6 from 25 there, which means excellent 24%.

Just simple math: U need two Skills (OD and IS) to make 60% FG% and defend well, u need 4 Skills (JS, Range, ID and Blk) to make 30% 3P% and defend well - whats the smarter way? The 4 Skills needed to train make this players much rarer on the transfer market, u have to pay a lot of money to buy a JS-Range or an ID-Blk-player, and it doesn´t even give u benefits. Players with high OD or high IS in contrast are pretty cheap. I play Outside-Offense atm., but i´ll change that next season, because on a certain level, it just doesn´t work anymore. The GDP, to make it clear, made this problem worse, for now Outside-Teams are totally f***** against 3-2 and GDP (if there is an opponent equal to u).

Yeah. I took a look at buzzermanager and it says that I hold my opponents to 30.1% FG and 17.4% 3pt. Both percentages are the best ones in the league. To be honest I win my games because 1-2 guys score enough and the rest of my team defends like there is no tomorrow ;)

I'm at 27.4% and 11.6% currently without much shotblocking, but OD on the big men.
