I think it would help.
1.6 million for one game or one week is a lot less attractive than 200 grand.

Uh? That doesn't make sense to me. I don't mean this in a snarky way, I just don't see what point you're making. If you're saying that the new isolation tactics allow you to field a team with one superstar and 4 50k types, that just isn't true...

I believe (and hope) that you have much easier life if you pick up SF. Is probably enough to have just defences, rebounding and passing. And something like that could give you 4 50k players.

Is that a bad thing?

I don't know. It was just an idea. I think the ability to buy Superman for one game for $200k and sell him before you have to pay his wages is one of the most serious problems we currently face in this online game. To me it goes against any sort of fair play or ethics or whatever you want to call it. I know it's not illegal and there are plenty of people who think it's a good strategy. I just think it's bogus and makes things decidedly less fun.

I think the market for 200k players is still pretty healthy and active - I was talking about those 350k+ centers that are tossed around like some hot piece of lava...

I think that the teams should pay a daily salary for the players, but the payment of the total sum of salaries of all the roster during the week should remain however in one single weekly update.

Why nit have it so that a player that has played a game for you under any given week is payed for that week?

Because I think it would fit better to the divine trading situation, that basically is the problem here, rather than use a larger impact solution

The problem has effectively been solved for B3. The only competition for which it truly remains open is the national tournament.

I disagree.

The BBs have, in effect by changing the B3, admitted that this is a massive problem but have tackled it in the wrong way by changing the rules for for the B3 rather than tackling the actual problem. This totally proves the point that these salary monsters are effective players but their salaries are just way out of scale, which has the effect that they actually sell for way less than they should be worth.

This is still a massive problem for the cup and a cash'd up and savvy manager could probably hire one of these guys each week for the final few rounds and just resell them on the thursday night sometimes making a loss, sometimes a profit. I don't think it is a smart financial investment but if you want to win the cup badly enough why not? It would also help preserve the GS of your other players.

Do you really think someone facing a tough relegation series couldn't just hire one of these guys, win the series in two games going into a little debt then sell the player and avoid relegation?

Even a team fighting for promotion could do it. You are 4th seed having crept into the playoffs with a very cheap roster and saved cash all year. Hire two monsters for the next 3 weeks and NBBA here you come. Probably a good investment in the long run.

Can you imagine this happening in a real league?
