with the actual staff ways, we can change them every week...

who said? noone except the Staff avaible each week...

but i didn't see Memphis or raptors or Celtics changing his coach every week...

What does that have to do with a proposed new Staff system?

For what it's worth, I also don't understand.

i believe he is referring to a post made earlier that suggested that there should be a variety of staffers to choose from every week. he went to the extreme by looking at staffers like a day trader. looking at real life you don't change around staff on a weekly basis nor does it occur often during the season. at least that's what i was reading from it.

i would kind of like it if coaches/trainers were developed like players. from my limited experience in hattrick (which i no longer play) i saw that you could specifically search and get a coach based on preferences. i would suggest a sort of middle ground in which you start out with a coach with a set of skills, much like a drafted rookie. through the course of the season he can be trained in certain areas of coaching allowing players to directly mold the coach they want. it's just a thought i had.

This is a great idea. I'd like to see it made a part of the game. Allowing a trainer (not the 'head coach,' fro that really is you, the team owner) to develop in training skill areas selected by you, would be a major upgrade in game options.

I suspect that a change to the staffing system is probably on the to-do list for the developers as it would increase options for the users. What I would like to see is matrixed approach. Coaches with attributes for offense, defense, training, and possibly even something for pace. Just a shell of an idea, but that would be how I would envision coaches to look like.

what about Staff actually improving? as they get to know their roster or as they get older with experience... i dont get why a coach would get 'lazy' or not be as motivated to do well...

The lack of challenge he gets after spending a lot of time in the same team.
-->Like in really life soccer, a lot of coaches in top teams get fired during their third season because of lacking results. The team board claims that they notice "the fire is out" or "there's less magic interaction between coach and players".

I don't know of an instance where a staff member takes a pay cut in the middle of a contract for basically any reason.

The salary staying the same is an incentive to change staff when appropriate.

Salary definitely must not drop.
