I played HT last year（Team‘s name is Kawaguti Werewolf，too）。
But I think BB is more interesting than HT。

@ken/wolph - I don't think anyone could declare HT to be "lame" or "worse" than BB in any way, shape or form. You may like basketball more, and that will definitely have an impact (I absolutely enjoy basketball more). But there's a huge difference between "not liking soccer and that equating over into the browser game", and calling it "lame" or saying it's bad. Obviously given the people involved in the two - that'd be an incorrect assertion to make.

The game itself is way, way more developed, has far more options and you have far greater control. Add to that, if you play any significant length of time, you'll note that the devs are far more involved in bettering the game and sustaining a balanced game. As YC (?) said, it's like comparing checkers to chess. Even the aesthetics are more involved: I love the option of being able to develop a team uniform.

I've just raised my first coach from my team, and opened a Youth Academy. I'm battling to stay up in div IV, and planning how to be competitive in this league.
I'm not a soccer fan per se, but there are very few parallels between the management aspect of the two games, or the competitiveness of each.

"Crappy game"... well, *according to you*... as I stated Wolph: numbers don't lie, and HT in Japan alone is so much bigger. Just because you - for whatever reason - didn't stick with it for longer than a few days, doesn't mean it sucks. Verily, BECAUSE you only stuck with it for a very short time, do you think you have the ability to really make an accurate assessment?

And I didn't advertise, someone else started this thread. All I stated was that perhaps those of us still playing could keep in touch.

In some ways, HT makes me sad, because I see all that BB could have been, could be...

Err... honestly Ken, I'm not sure how you can say any of this. How long did you play HT?

I'm trying to play HT but its been tough to get into it. I also think its slow and that's the biggest challenge. Another thing, the BB live Game is so much better than HT.

But HT has its merits and we'll see how it goes. Maybe it will get more interesting once I move up to a higher league.

Well....you all know how I feel. I like tactics and HT has the real deal. You have different formations and then you have team tactics and then you can give each player his own tactic. that is just crazy real. Choosing subs and then you as the coach can make in game changes like...This player from the 75 minute plays more defensively...Like I said...chess to checkers...In BB it's has become LI and a blank line up...WOW!! I would rather use my brain when playing a game....Now with that said...I am also a STATS guy...and that is what keeps me in BB...PTs, REBs, assist and so on ...I love it..I also love the Private league and the game engine(screwed up but not horrible).
OK...down to the goodies....I am back in Div 4....league 15.(4.15)...I have been doing the Yo-Yo for 3 seasons now..up to 3 and than down to 4 and than up 3 and now back down to 4...but last time was the best. I missed staying up by 2 goals in GD.
