The T-Breds surprised me, though. They are looking quite strong. Maybe you can pencil The Mogul in as the favourite but unlike past seasons I think there are a number of teams with a shot.


I was not surprised, though. If you still remember how they almost upset BC Torooo last season in the cup game then yesterday their win was not a big surprise as BC Torooo was definitely stronger than my team. I don't mind the relatively early loss in the cup if the loss will come sooner or later, lol.

Good luck to everyone still in the cup. BTW I think you also have a shot to the winner of the cup.:)

You never know. Last night #273 beat #14 (a Naismith team that is 7-3 this season). Anything can happen in the cup.

Definitely a good example of how wide open the cup can be since top flight teams need to make decisions on which games to throw resources and effort at. Also a good example of how home court and effort can make a huge difference.

I understand i might have had a chance if my oppenent this week, had some tough games but by the look of things he isn't going to have to crunch and i crunch last week so unless something changes i think i might just TIE. I feel pretty good i knocked off a game in the 130 in the country when my team is in the 220's so maybe next season my goal will be to make it past round 6.

This week it doesn't look like any of the top teams are in trouble this week.

somed.III team(managed by BNP (24892)) is facing me i have beaten 3 D.III teams so far( in a row)and im going for 4-5 my country rank is sky rocketing because of this if im lucky enough maybe ill keep drawing D.III teams until like the semi's( probably not) and then somehow win and then lose to secret agents lol ooo or if for some reason secret agents goes with scrub lineup i could win. that would be the biggest upset since( cant think of a good example atm). ;P

To your question about my enthusiasm I'll just tell you what happened after last weeks Canada Cup match up.

All the players from the Kitchener Hi-Toppers went out to a celebratory dinner at one of the fine Steak houses in Kitchener, Alfred Williamshttp://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/14642556/overview.aspx the team captain said this to his teammates,
"Congrats! We just won the biggest game in franchise history,"
in beating the 44 ranked team in the country Toronto 5-0http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/25019/overview.aspx
"Boys we made it back to the 6th round last year it was our last round but this year it will be the start to the deepest run at the cup in franchise history!"
with that the whole team cheered and began to converse and laugh and about their defense match-ups in the up coming Cup tilt against Sam Habtu Flight Squadhttp://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/33652/overview.aspx.

So I don't what do you think are they enthused.

all the players from Sam Habtu Flight Squad( including their multi billionaire GM) are going to practice every other day, and study games that the Kitchener Hi-Toppers played. their alleged Win against Toronto 5-0 which was not a real victory because Toronto 5-0 used only 6 players who were 1 backup and 5 scrubs. which Tommy Saint-Amand finds kind of hilarious because their whole team is at a steak house celebrating and being more american(getting fatter) while he is at the Gym everyday. he is looking forward to the Tommy Saint-Amand vs Piotr Walenski Match-up. he was quoted
“I don’t create controversies. They’re there long before I open my mouth. I just bring them to your attention.”

Henrik Vén only had one thing to say to Piotr Walenski
“You don’t hesitate with Tommy, or you’ll end up on some poster in a gift shop someplace.”

The Rest of Sam Habtu Flight Squad are ready to run and gun them out of Court. they want to see a poster with Tommy Dunking on Piotr Walenski. that poster alone will skyrocket the teams merchandise. I mean what else is Prolific IS for

the general manager was quoted saying
“I have one thing to say to those non-believers. … Don’t ever underestimate the heart of a champion.”
