No biggie.

One of my old series mates once suggested this to me:

Many new users look at their own conference forum first. Our old div IV series was actually pretty active considering there are only 16 participants. New users tend to start here and in the Help forums because they are linked on their team or standings page. Perhaps a post (maybe even sticky) pasted into each of the USA Series forums that links to NT/U21 threads or offsite boards, and a description of how USA managers can help out the NT/U21 teams. Maybe a word about the importance of GS so new users start out thinking about training and minutes.

Alot of the players stagnating in V-IV are doing so because of lack of knowledge of GS and/or training. A small bit of motivation or information when a new player first starts out can prepare him for better National participation before he even knows about the NT.

I liked your suggestion to get the BB-USA forums linked to team pages as well, that is a move in the right direction.

Why are you scanning players of there is a database full of them? Specifically, my player has made the team 3 times in the last week. To me that is wrong. If I didn't want my player on the U21 NT, it's my business and my players shouldn't be looked at by a Manager that I compete with for any US activity.

Secondly, you chose one of your own players to play on the team. With the new econ support National Hero's would you do that now if he wasn't the best player?

Both of those give you an advantage others don't have. Why should we take that risk on you for a second term?

That's most likely me, not Coco.

During the periods when enthusiasm does not need to be managed, I scout every player in the database every Friday to monitor pops, etc., so that when enthusiasm must be managed we have the most up-to-date information about our player pool.

It's perfectly legal, and the BBs can check logs of who has been added/dropped with regards to national teams if there are questions of impropriety.

As long as the information is accessible, it's going to be logged.

Besides, I could post my entire team's skills here and it wouldn't mean jack - you still need the talent to win.

With all due respect if you are voting for a mediocre manager over our current guy just for new energy its a mistake. New energy is great if it has the focus of talent. I don't see a 12-10 finish in D.II as something that stirs me.

the U21 club and national team are all about success. Energizing the community? This is an internet game not a block party. You play because you want to, if you are going to be lethargic and not give a crap someone on the other end of the screen isnt going to motivate you. The U21 team and National Team are both coming off of successful seasons. They have done the best with what they have but there is only so much they can do. If people aren't motivated to train up their US draft picks after the current rule changes regarding merchandising money there is certainly no way a couple of lines in the forums will take care of it. With this job, the proof is in the pudding so to speak, and as I have already said misguided energy doesn't get the job done.
