Ok, now i'm confused. I thought the potential ratings went from 1-5 but there are 12 steps of potential ranking listed in the Rules now. How does the following translate into a 1-5 star rating? O_o

announcer
bench warmer
role player
6th man
starter
star
allstar
perennial allstar
superstar
MVP
hall of famer
all-time great

thats a lot of different levels considering the skills have 20 possible achievable levels... if every player in BB is allstar at best it raises the question can a new draft with allstar potential be as good as some of the allstar ones now? there are a few very special players already (i imagine destined to get better) or will this put a cap on them? because with 5 potential categories higher than allstar how can the players we have now go on to be legendary in certain skills? (some players are only 2-3 levels away)

or... is the potential going to be linked to the SPEED in which a player can improve his attributes?

My guess is that the potential does not set a cap on an individual skill, but rather on some kind of weighted some of skills.

I have question on the 5 star players. Say if you have 6 players with 5 stars and only one of them was scouted for a 2nd time. That one player has a A- grade and 3 star potential.

With a 5 star ranking, A- is the worse you can get and 3 star potential is normal. Wouldn't you just rank the guy last out of your six 5 star players. Notwithstanding his 3 star potential, you cannot get any worse than A- with your 5 star guys, no?

Now I am confused...
I thought that potential was up to level 5.
Today I discover that there are 12 diffenret levels!

Does anyone know if we see a 4 potential player in the draft what it means with this 12 level scale?

I think that we will figure it out soon - after a draft

If you draft player with a 5 stars on the potential, it doesn't mean that he has a best potential, but you can be sure that one of the best

Grades are from A+ (best) to D- or lower?

I would have sorted the ones I do not know anything about higher than A- and 3 * potential. But I am a gambler!

Older than the rest ...

That's right.

I would like to have seen potential be hidden until the player has been put on the Transfer List.
