Best solution? In my view...

Run no training this week. Add one week of scrimmages to the end of the season. Add one week to all supporter packages.

Say you are very sorry (again). Training is just about the biggest thing in this game after the ME. You can't mess around with it and settle for a partial solution, it either has to work as planned for all, or not happen.

Kind regards,
Elmacca.

There are so many things wrong with this text and how you handled this.. if you cant be bothered to really fix things at least edit in some respect for the users who clearly and rightfully are frustrated.

Lessons to be learned if something goes wrong:

- Make an/the announcement reflect what you are about to do...
..and what the users shouldnt.

- Consider the timezones.. the ones awake and logged in are the ones who will be affected.

- When you make "rushed" changes you are (almost) all the time in some way penalizing the ones who really like this game and PLAN way ahead. This is true of economics, GE changes and/or as in this case a not so elegant bug-fix.

May I add, if not obvious, that those people also are your customers. The ones who pay for this.

I can appreciate the apology that's for sure were all human and sometimes mistakes lead to rash decisions.

I planned really well this week knowing I'm playing 2 teams that have strong Centers are their main position so I felt it would be best to train Inside Defense to counter this.

I got the pop's I wanted both of the players trained popped. I promptly changed my training and headed out for my day..

To come back to find out I have one pop of driving on one of my player's are is one of my worst players and gets little play time.

So instead of going 1-1 out of my 2 games this week I may end up going 0-2.. I guess I might have to CT one of them now instead

Those are the breaks sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

I don't think you can shake it off as "them's the breaks" - I plan my training so that when I need to play players out of position to give them the training I want, it is against the weaker teams in my league. I carry $15k of extra salary to give me flexibility. Training is hugely important to my view of this game - I feel I have been handicapped because someone hasn't done their job well enough, compounded by poor communication of what would have to be done to fix it and what steps we could take as a community to help.
The 'fix' hasn't worked, so just 'reset'.

I'm open to other suggestions for how we can try to make things right, but we have no capability to go back and rerun training and it would be massively unfair to only try and patch things for the individuals who complain, particularly as we have a tendency to only hear those who are complaining in English.

But actually, what can you do?

my sugestions>

1. Cancell all trainings and make them double next week

2. Cancell all training to those who complain, and give them double next week.
(so you can take whole week to colect all objections)

3. Give us (everybody) one more training this week, before 2morrow games

4. Find a way to give stronger training nxt week, to those who are damaged this

5. - the worst thing - do nothing!

I am just giving my opinion. My point of view is different from yours.
I alway try to think first what could I have done better before blaming other people.

Of course there is a bug, and it has been fixed in the best possible way. I would complaint stronger if I see they are doing nothing to solve it. Not the case at all.

Every manager online game suffers from the same problems from time to time. We all make mistakes and it is not always possible to restore everything perfectly.

It's quite difficult to suggest a solution if the starting position is there is no solution.

Anyway, I think the most important thing is to have everyone with the same training conditions. So, immediately reset game shape for all now and clearly announce that training will be rerun on Monday and will be based on this last week games. There would be enough time for enough to see the announcement and, even better, the email. In this way, only the Saturday game will be "wrong"

This is just an example.

no.....
the bug was for all the players......
after the new train session the problems remain for "some" of they......

this is not correct..... say to us if you can do something for our train.....
