That's a good place to start, you can learn a lot from watching how your team preforms with each tactic.

And you can find some good information on tactics in the forums: (162145.1) (145907.1) (153702.1) (107606.1)

Sweet thank you

We have a lot of great outside shooters. Unfortunately, we play all our games indoors.

Would it be fair to say that in order to decent shut down a teams outside or inside offense. I need to have equal defense as their team rating. like if they have strong outside scoring then if i have outside defenders with 8 or better OD will I handle them fairly well, or is there more to it?

I know the theory in general is leaving out a lot of variable but would it be a good rule of thumb?

No, the players rating doesn't translate to team rating, so defenders with strong OD will get torched by a strong outside scoring attack.

I have to agree with Eminence, e.g. you need 'phenomenal' guard OD to put up sensational OD for team rating (and that's with a 3-2). So whilst there is a correlation of sorts, it's not of the same order of magnitude.

To be a starting guard on my team you have to have 13 OD or over.

It is true that we were unusually light in ID on PF, but I doubt anyone has ever had double 17 ID at both inside positions (possibly wozz?).

Not me, just one. Although other than a few end-of-bench guys, I don't play anyone with <22 ID+OD, which I think is the more important number.
