I have a question. Let's say you know your opponents defense is better than your offense and they play perimeter and inside defense well. Would you play push the ball to so the game would go faster and you would get more shot opportunities or would you play base offense or patient to get better quality shots?

I think that in a situation in which the opposing defense is better you would play patient to slow down the tempo of the game and get higher quality shots. The last thing you would want to do against a better team is start increasing tempo and then start giving them more shot opportunities. Just my opinion

In the case of playing an inferior team, I believe you would want to play Patient to reduce the possessions and keep the game as tight as you can while improving the shot quality of what few shots you do take.

What I think gets lost in translation is sometimes in a discussion such as this people put a tone when reading someones response to them, and many times that tone is not what people meant. Just remember that when you type and respond. Now I am generally the furthest thing from a PC person as there is but this is just what I have noticed in different forums I read.
