I've been glad to see all teams have remained totally homegrown for the Season 1 (so far at least, as I did the roster check couple of days ago for current and potentially new teams) and of course I'm not expecting that to change (as no HGL team has announced becoming a non-HG team).

It has been also great to see that all matches have had a correct match balance (unless I've forgot to check some match during the season - if anyone notices wrong court balance from this or on any of the next seasons, please let me know), so excellent job everyone for complying with this important rule!
(Like probably everyone knows, the match venue can't be verified before the match starts/ends, so verifying correct court balance can't be included into my Regular Season match organization pre-check routine).

@Hadár: it seems you might be willing to bet on your success next season, as you already added AQR2-abbreviation as your First PO Round score... I guess we need to approach some betting agency to see if they would offer odds for Season 2 of HGL. ;D
Having said that, it would take some sort of miracle if you wouldn't be on Top4 on Season 2, so in that sense I can see why you did it...

Agreed, good things tend to happen when you set goals worth fighting for... And while some could argue I've (deliberately) understood that completely wrong - as by setting goals people often refer to goals leading to competitional success - my high goals include having high number of players, to be more exact 100 own draftees in a team.
So if someone needs a consultant/lecture on sensible and economical playing strategies, I'm available for that. xD

Congratulations to Deano from my behalf as well, but you can definitely be proud of your Season 1 success too... You were able to put up a very respectable fight (5 point game 4:30 left in the match), and I believe many of us would gladly change places with you (as 4th in the world isn't actually that bad, is it?).
I know you'll never play to lose, and it was definitely a realistic chance for you to win the medal and you may feel gutted not being able to take use of that opportunity, but I'm just trying to say: well done WiMaOl! :)

I´m very glad to hear you enjoy and appreciate it, and want to be part of HGL in the future as well, I appreciate that a lot. :)

Frankly it´s certainly sometimes more work than I´d care to admit, but it´s a nice payoff when I hear that others in HG community as well (and not just myself) enjoys HGL!

Season 2 HGL Threads (main and scores thread) have now been set up, so HGL related conversation will mainly take place in those Threads from now on.

What everyone who participates to Season 2 of HGL needs to do now:

1. at least briefly check out your season schedule (posts 5 and 6 on Season 2 Scores Thread, link at the end of post); I didn't notice anything special/faulty in it, but having another eyes to check it too doesn't harm. (Basically we should be good to go, as I re-used Season 1 Schedule by editing it as little as possible considering we have 4 joining teams, but anyone possibly spotting any problems please let me know).

2. create an own box score post for their team, just like during Season 1.
As an idea for your convenience (and to retain preferred standard for HGL) you can respond to this message (327517.14) and from that post of mine copy-paste everything below * * * * * * to your own box score post (and only change your team name/abbreviation and add match links to it as soon as matches for Season 2 have been organized.

3. Familiarize yourself with match organization process if it's new thing for you or if you need a refresher (guide currently available on 'Announcement'-posts on both Official Threads) and ask questions (if needed) preferably before you'll start the process.
