connected to salary

Ding, ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!

The salary link is here:

http://www.buzzerbeater.wgz.cz/salary-formula

This does not have to be 100% accurate, but the implications for training for fun and profit are interesting, as well as how to fill your roster is more impotant than the others think. Take a moment to study it, and come up with your own conclusions.

There's a connection, but you have it the wrong way.
Salaries are not calculated upon a position given before, but the other way around: first, the system calculates a salary (for a player) for all 5 the position, and then the one where the sum ends up being the most becomes the suggestion. This was discussed and "revealed" during my early seasons, dating back to 2008 I think.

A perfect exemple is the salary calculator, which works in the same fashion as the Buzzerbeater system: (http://www.how8.com/bb/index.php)

Therefore, the listed position is just that, a suggestion, as it doesn't imply anything. The only thing it may imply is the search on the market, since you can filter players on sale by position. That said, it's not completely a meaningless guideline, as it helps managers during their learning time in my opinion.

Hopefully I was clear with what I wrote.

"BuzzerBeater, the best simulation game of real market economy" (with a cool live basket viewer).

I feel like I missed something - where are these linked results? What is its function in the game engine?

I feel like I missed something too. This thread took a sharp turn from general to arcane. I don't think the salary implications of "best position" is what the original poster was asking about.
