We can play today against Deutschland. They were semifinalist in the last european champioship and they are one of the favourites to win this season.

They are a great team but we will try to win.

We have lost the first two games against Ceska Rep and Deutschland. The classification is complicated but I would like to highlight positive aspects:

-The two rivals were possibly the strongest of the group and we have fought to the end with worse states of form.
-We were unlucky with Tipan's injury and the bad form of other key players. I just saw Aboms injury today
-I like the level that our team has given. We have great internal and external attacks. We are a dangerous team.

I hope we have a bit more luck and can get the first win of the season soon.

The game against Germany actually went down to the vire, quite an unfortunate ending though as it was even 6 minutes into the 4th.
With a little more luck we could have won.

We lost today against Hellas. It was a hard defeat

I was expecting an even game but we haven't hurt ... I need to analyze the match in the next few days but we will continue fighting.

Next game Rossiya.

Hi wertol,

We have played normal but Rossiya has played decisive ...

I do not understand their approach because now they play against Cska Rep, Deutschland and Hellas ...

I am very sad because I think we have deserved a victory in these four games ... We have fought all the matches until the end except against Hellas. We are unlucky.

We will continue working in the next games and generations of players.

Good evening,

We have played today against Malta and we have won the first match of the season. They are the weakest rivals of the group and I have tried other tactic.

We will try other questions in the next games to improve the team.

Que yo pasaba por aquí a ver si se le daba mucha caña al u21 después de caer humillados ante una selección mucho peor pero me he encontrado esto xd

En fin, mucha suerte con tu selección Dani!!

Good evening,

We have played today against Andorra and we have won the match 103 - 76.

For this match I have selected 2 new players: Tipans and Naglinš. Tipans is probably our best center but he couldn´t help us during this season by an injury. Naglinš has a great future in the national team and needs to gain experience.

I am very happy with the statistics of the game but i don´t like our free throw %

Next week we have an important match against Makedonija.

Good evening,

We have played today against Makedonija and we won the match 99 - 110. We had not great forms for this game but we were able to overcome that problem.

For this match I have selected 1 new player. Vucens is a special player and if he trains well he will be an important part in the national team during the next seasons.

We finished in 5º place of the group with 3 victories and 4 defeats. I am happy and sad. I wanted to do a better role and I hope to improve the next season.

During the next weeks I will play the friendies matches with some young players to know his level against other national teams. I want to give them more experience because they will be the future of the national team.

I have spoken with many coaches to know the training plan of the best young players. If someone have a great latvijan player, they can talk with me.
