S18 - Round 3 - Wang Xiangjia's 39pts 21rebs, and a winning Free Throw brought Compassvale to edge Whampoa 107-106.

The rivalry never ends, even though they're at different diivision now.

Konrad Krassowski dagger 3 pointer almost brought Whampoa to overtime, but Fransiskus Detjen was called for Foul after stripping Wang Xiangjia dunk attempt, resulting Wang to hit one of two free throw for one point lead 107-106. After Whampoa timeout, they just can't find Krassowski and ended up Ng Chao Huat jacked a 3pointer that hit the front of rim. And Compassvale team jumped out for joy.

Krassowski scored 43pts, did everything he could to show up the fighter spirit of 4 time Champion Whampoa. Omri Arnon flirted with triple double as he scored 15pts 10rebs and 9asts. Detjen has 19pts and 9rebs.

Chow Chun May has 27pts and Li Baoxiang scored 10pts and 15rebs for Compassvale.

Meanwhile at Fantasy Arena, Waldemar Creytz scored 21pts to bring Final Fantasy XIII to eliminate Shohoku Backers 85-72. Shohoku's slow start was really cost them a lot, as they're just unable to battle back the aggresive FF9 inside play, resulted 20 free throws to FF9 and only 2 for Shohoku.

Jaras Gasiulis led Shohoku with 19pts. Sertug Acay had 12pts and 16rebs but only shot 6/16.

At Bobblehead arena, Eric United used their A-squad to overcome the "all-out" play by Bobblehead, won 114-97. Had known the opponent very well, EU didn't waste any time to build the big lead on first half, then try to nullify every Bobbleheads baskets on 2nd half. Fu Erqiang led EU with 22pts and 10assists. Peleg Schum has 21pts, and Augusto Gomes scored 16pts 6assists and 7steals. Zhao Xiaoyun led Bobblehead with 27pts.

The Pekanbaru Jaguars also escaped away from Dream Arena with a win 89-62 against last season Semifinalist Requiem Of Dream. The Jaguars had to fight hard for the win, they was commiting lots of fouls on the first half, until finally Tommy Kupila hot hands extend the lead to 20pts and unreachable by ROD. Kupila has 38pts and Tsampiakos Isaias has 31.

Ernesto Ceresi led ROD with 20pts 13rebs.

Round 4 highlights :

Challenges continues for Compassvale United, as they will host another powerhouses, Sessioes Doers. Expect an interesting battle between CPU bigmen (Wang Xiangjia, Li Baoxiang, Lin Chuan Loong) with SD's (Eike Balkhausen, Phil Hanson).

S18 - Round 4 - Big 3rd quarter carried Compassvale United defeat Sessioes Doers 96-81.

The team is winning, the fans are starting to believe.

Given another chance in front of their fans for an important match, CPU didn't dissapoint, used a solid 2nd half to bury down the SD 96-81.

The biggest turning point was on the middle of 3rd quarter, where CPU reserve Pun Cheng Li made lots of key plays, bullied to the baskets, hitting free throws, and even go for passing lanes and a fastbreak layup. CPU outscored SD 30-15 at 3rd.

Ricardo Paz tried to rally SD back, but Pun Cheng Li just keep firing and Jonathan Gosse was clicking on his jumpers. SD fell behind by 10 with 1 minute left in the game and unable to mount back again.

Round 5 highlights :

1.Eric United (Div SBBL - rank 3) vs Shwe Toe Ngal (SBBL - rank 12)
The B3 performers and best offense teams in Singapore, Eric United will visit one of the most improved Singapore teams Shwe Toe Ngal. If you look at how STN played on their home court, you will know that Eric United will be in trouble. Sporting a quality PF Jakub Ejankowski and big nerve floor captain Vratislav Altman, STN suddenly owns the odds for this one.

2.Singapore Slashers (Div II.3 - rank 31) vs Compassvale United (SBBL - rank 10)
Buckle up, Compassvale. The Slashers beat Pekanbaru Jaguars and Singapore Showstoppers on last season. This season, Slashers don't look like they are having a dominator like last season Marijan Vucenovic. But U21 Irfan Abdul Hamid should be marked down here, because he was dropping 50pts killer to eliminated Jaguars last season.

3.Fat Alexander (SBBL - rank 4) vs Esplanade BC (SBBL - rank 8)
Similar fate with Eric United, Fat-A are going to face a tough game as they visit to the "suddenly fierce" ESP team. Dimos Tsemperlidis will be on the spotlight on this game, as he is facing the smaller Foong Chin Huat, and could have his best night by overpowering Fong.
