I think the most important thing is to have people win right at the beginning. Put them in a bot league and let them win each game by 50 points. That was the best thing for me. I think my team was 7 - 7 when I started and then I won 8 straight games. It took a while to promote up but that early win streak sure helped.

BB can't loose players this fast without stoping. I think the number of teams will settle if a year and won't go down so dramatically.

Hello!!First time i post in global forum so you dont know me...
We love the game as it is and the problem in my opinion for loosing more and more players is that they are not patient.A good team wants a lot of time to be built and wins games and championships.No one started winning cups etc without trying.
I think its false to let them win the first season all the games in order to keep them in the game.

I think that people who play BuzzerBeater will stay even if they know there is farming, day trading, and generally just things that suck about BuzzerBeater unless they lost the time to log in. Whereas even if jerseys, a B3 style tournament for anyone, visible skills after retirement, automatic transfer bidding, or anything else were added to the game, I think people would still come and quickly go at the same rate. BuzzerBeater would have to drastically change to keep more newbies. Which would lose some players who have played for a long time.
What I think the biggest problem with BuzzerBeater is that no one outside of BuzzerBeater knows what it is. BB players need to spread the game around, and BuzzerBeater needs to advertise more than they need to add things to the game.

Agree. On one hand people are saying the game is moving too slow, you need too much time to get to higher leagues etc. But isn't this true also for other managers, say Trophy Manager or Hattrick? My cousin has been playing Trophy for three years now and he hasn't even got a glance of 1st league.

Yeah, it heavily depends on how many teams your competing against, so naturally it is much more difficult to reach the highest level in games like Hattrick or Trophy Manager.
It's a shame so many people join BuzzerBeater thinking they will instantly have an elite team.

i still dont think that BBs "problem" is farming, the engine or micronations...its the time!!

that game is great, if we living in 2005..its like using a nokia 5110 as ur phone..it works and u can do all the important stuff but nobody would scream if he gets it as a gift

in one word..our lovely game buzzerbeater is oldfashion

Well...60's music is "odlfashion", but we are still listening to it, right? And we can get all sorts of games, but I'll still play Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
Ok, I guess I'm old fashioned too...so BB is a game for me!

they could freshen it up quite a bit by moving the GE off of flash. can't watch the game mobile. for me following the game is most of the enjoyment.

of course, id make a bunch of other changes but im sure we all would if had the wheel.

i can watch live games on my android (galaxy xcover), but i think i got lucky during instal and did all the right things. on top of that, phone was brand new and flash was its' first app.
