Just read about it. Interesting "legacy".

Sorry, I was just wondering where you read about the thousands of players. Maybe I misunderstood.

Its not written down. Its spread by word of mouth. Like an ancient fable. In 1000 years people will doubt the existence of khenry, but we were privileged to see it as it happened.

Here is one thread about it that devolves in chaos after GM intervention about off-topic posts with many being deleted, but it shows a little of what was going on.

TD:DR I had a bunch of money and was bored with the game so I bought a ton of players then people reported me and got me banned for a couple days so I didn't care to relist them and allowed myself to go bankrupt.

ON TOPIC: I have the record for most players but I like the new rule.

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).

At the moment i am not sure whats more disappointing, the S37 news or the lack of communication of the people responsible for them. EGM Foto is (aside from Manon in some niche topics) the only one available for discussion and both of them prefer to abandon certain topics once the weight of arguments tilts against the proposed changes.

I haven't abandoned any topic, I've explained my point of view in almost all of them and continue reading until I think I have something to write.
I am not sure about how to measure the weight of arguments you mention, since we have different conclusions with the same data. I've just seen some different opinions as respectable as mine, but my conclussions are not the same as the ones you have.
On the other hand, if one user's idea seems interesting, it's not a bad idea to let other users discuse it before any of us gives staff point of view.

This is a quote from EGM-Foto's reply to Robard.

There have been several questions asked here which have not been addressed by staff. I understand EGM-Foto's comment about leaving discussions to users. Now that this discussion has, possibly temporarily, quietened, I wonder if it would be possible for staff to re-enter and answer some of the very important questions asked here. I won't repeat them, EGM-Foto also said in another post that all posts were read no matter who they were from.

I wouldn't like staff to assume that this is not important because it doesn't still have 20+ comments a day or that people have forgotten it.

I would not count on the (E)GMs to re-enter the discussion - it is what it is right now.

True.

I think it will disappoint a lot of users if they decide to make that many promotions every season.
