Well what I get from that is you agree with me that this season has been short of your previous level but you still have the passion to turn it around and get back to your previous high level. Fair play - I hope you do if you win re-election.
incidentally I find the whole 'it's just a game' argument to be a bit weak - of course it's just a game but that's completely irrelevant to how well you're playing the game. It's like when someone says I'm a new dad and I'm.too busy to play anymore - well I can tell you all from experience that when you're staying up to do the night feed at 2am, you have shed loads of time to.yourself and something as trivial as BB is a welcome distraction from the endurance test that is newborn parenting!

I have my bar set high just as every coach does, i want us to be a force in Europe some day and of course i expect every season that we'll have a shot at doing better than we eventually do. My posting has been non existant this season and i totally understand that people may be dissapointed by my lack of effort on that front. I just wish if people had issues with the way i've been doing the whole thing that they'd have told me, now i can take it on board with things such as 12 players and posting more, i didn't realise the 12 players was such an issue if i had i'd have rectified it ASAP but leaving me in the dark won't help anyone. I understand where you're coming from and all i ask of the community is their support.

I have things in my personal life that i'd rather not discuss on here that i'm working through, things that really damaged my motivation for things like BB but as i say i'm working on myself too and trying to better myself as a person. But i won't be stepping down from the NT spot and i take every comment on board as to how i can improve my coaching and general management of the team. If you have any issues i'd much rather the people tell me

I think for most people, the best time to comment is at the end of the season, and even more so, the end of the second season. Just for the sake of not rocking the boat.

I have a lot of sympathy for you of course as I've been in the same position. My last season was especially difficult for me to take. The decline, that you're clearly not responsible for, started then. The future does look brighter now than it did then, you've done far more than I did away from the actual squad, though again it would be nice to know just how many players you think are likely to come through in the next few seasons.

My PMs are always open for comments if you'd rather not air them publicly on the forums. This is why i posted on the suggestion forum about a second squad, it would be much easier to show the up and comers through there but if it is of interest and i get re-elected i'd be more than happy to start creating some sort of development depth chart so we can see the future devlop.

I take full responsibility for a pretty lack lustre campaign on communication etc and i want the change to redeem myself

I haven't felt the need to comment on this forum until now - I'm not taking sides but I agree with what Zeus is saying with the majority of stuff. I haven't got any senior NT experience but just by looking at the roster, what are you really expecting to achieve? In my opinion and this is no dig at anyone, but this is probably the worst senior team I've seen us have since I started playing this game again. I think we all have to realise that we, as a community, are in a transitional period at the moment until we can become a force again but the future is bright. Staples looks a great prospect, as do Ellis, Bryant and Singh and what's more is we've still got a few seasons left on Mac and Innes who are undoubtedly the forefront of this team.

Additionally, we've got a few players coming from the U21 squad who are excellent for their current age and could provide great service to the NT later in their career; for example Mark Halflife, Thomas Galloway, George Storie and Elliot Lamont who is the best U21 player I've EVER seen.

Me and Zeus work behind the scenes to get training plans in place and motivate managers to train but there's only so much we can do and I can guarantee, as with the rest of the community, that we are eager to succeed on both sides of the national stage.

Maybe you're right but I don't think losing every game to gain experience would do anything for the morale of the English community and their trust in the NT coach

Ellis and Kilgour have been below GS standards most of the season and are not ready to play just yet, they are in the squad as an incentive to continue training as they are close to playing. And Gasg even at 37 is one of the better players on the squad and is arguably the best player to pull on the NT jersey ever for England until Innes peaks. You are allowed 18 players on the squad for a reason, some won't play.
