Not only do you call Dirk the greatest ever...you do so misspelling his name. You are a true fan...

Of course Arenas, Noah, Yao, and Garnett at this point in his career, disqualifies you from being sane anyway. :p Plus, how is Durant not included????????

There have been a lot of bad lists so far but I think this one is the worst, and someone else stupid plus 1'd it. Wheres Durant? Garnett used to be a top 5 player, but not now. Arenas sucks right now. Noah, what the heck! Lebron should be higher even though i hate him, Yao Ming is retired and has played 5 games in the last 2-3 years. Ray Allen is still a good player, but isn't at his best and is definitely not top 10. Also why put Garnett and Allen when I'd say Rondo and Pierce have become their best 2 players. Garnett is great on defense, but didn't show much life on offense at all in the playoffs. Also I don't think Paul deserves the number 2 spot even though he is a top 10 player.
Here is my new list since the other one is getting outdated.

1.) Kobe Bryant- Barely edges out Durant here due to the fact that at the end of games he knows how to get to his spots to make shots. Durant is clutch too, but catches the ball in a bad spot and has to shot a bad shot. Kobe didn't get far in the playoffs, but still trumps Durant & Lebron due to his how good he preforms in the playoffs. Durant or Lebron will probably take this spot by the end of this next season though.
2.) Kevin Durant - The best scorer in the game right now, but needs to know how to pull his team together in tight games. In the playoffs he was a little inconsistent and needed to show leadership at the end of games.
3.) LeBron James - Great player, but he choked terribly on the biggest stage where it matters most, Kobe hasn't choked to that degree and I don't think Durant ever will.
4.) Dwyane Wade - Barely below LeBron due to the fact that he doesn't preform his best on a consistent basis. He did a lot better in the finals and was the Heats man then, but LeBron can dominate more at his position, because he is a lot bigger.
5.) Dirk Nowitzki - Barely below the top 4 because he isn't a very good defensive player, but did do pretty well in the playoffs on D.
6.) Dwight Howard - Most dominate player at his position and the best defensive player in the league. He has the potential to become number 1 in the league if he can get a good team together and win a ring.
7.) Derrick Rose - MVP of the season, but hasn't really become the kind of player that all these others have. He needs to show he can carry a team in the playoffs.
8.) Chris Paul - Great unselfish player, but can't carry a team unless the supporting cast is great.
9.) Pau Gasol - 2nd best 2nd man in the league. He knows his role and plays it well.
10.) Can't Decide between Williams, Rondo, Westbrook. Williams probably gets the spot due to the fact that he has the better all around game, but Rondo was great in the playoffs and Westbrook just keeps getting better, but needs to know when he should be the scorer.

Had to hurry through the last 3.

Kudos on a great list but still not completely accurate. I agree on Kobe and Dwight ranking but Rose seventh Lebron third come on.

1.) Kobe Bryant- Even thought I hate him I can't hate on his game. Most consistent player offensive and defensive even though his injured and aging.

2.) Dirk Nowitzki- Simple clutch! He turned it on when your team needed it and had been consistent throughout the Season and playoffs en route to a Championship.

3.)Derrick Rose- Has been great to watch. An excellent defender and developing a elite shoot.Should be a little lower(I'm a little bias) but more of a complete player then Durant. He has carry his team but seem like he had to be push to do so.

4.)Kevin Durant - He is the best scorer in the game right now but a terrible defender. Also need to be able to find other when double and triple teamed instead of forcing bad shots up.

5.) Dwade Wade-really 3 material

6.) Dwight Howard- same as you

7.) Lebron James- He took a huge tumble because of his playoff performance

I'm agree on the last three because I don't care and I'd put players like Carmelo Anthony, Joe Johnson, and A'mare.

Pretty good list, but I had Lebron at 3 and Rose at 7 because head to head LeBron dominated Rose. He shut him down towards the end of the games. If he had played his best in the finals and won I would probably have to rank him first, even though I hate him.

I agree with your Rose assessment. Westbrook and Rose are almost identical...go look at the numbers, it's crazy and Russ has a better PER. Rondo is about the only one that you mentioned that I say doesn't belong. He isn't even top 20 IMO. No offensive game and you will see that develop even more as the "big 3" become the "geriatric 3". Defensively he is good, but offensively Williams and Russ have better jumpers and score at the rim much better. There is a reason Rondo can't break 10 points half the time...

Anthony is extremely overrated. I would put him around 20, he slows down offenses and is a great defender. All he does is score by going 1 on 1 which ruins the flow of a team.
