well the game was much more fun back in the days(at least for me)...although a lot of things changed from those days...some for better, more for worse :)

Much has been said in the forums about these new changes. This never changes. Each time there are new changes new threads are created where users discuss and criticize those changes. I think this is healthy. If there were silence on the forums I would be worried.

Yes, the past was great. But reflect on your own life, on history...reflect on the parts that were enjoyable for you personally. I'm sure you will find yourself saying the same thing: the past was better.

I'm definitely no extrovert or optimist; however, each time new changes are added to the game I eventually (having liked or disliked them) arrive at the same conclusion:

It's a game and the parameters have just changed. Cool. Time to adapt...again!

So to all those who aren't just voicing sensible opinions but are attacking GMs (in other threads)...

...chill out...it's just a game...see the changes as a chance for you to adapt. Even if it harms your immediate or long term plans...deal with it.

Or, as I tell my students: Toughen up Princess!

MERRY XMAS ALL!

I wasn't directing my comments to you specifically, mate. My apologies if you thought so.

Take care.

- Salary changes: Cool. Like it. I like the idea of finding players with salary efficiency but oh well..

- Micronations: Cool. Makes sense to me now that some patient and kind person explained it to me.

- Salary floor: Not sure it's necessary with the fan changes.

- Boycott: Really really like it. More changes with fans are needed. BBs shouldn't be so lazy.

- Promotion/Demotion: Ridiculous. Too big a change that has no real purpose and, like what someone else said, it changes the leagues too much and then the forum activity / social side of the game is affected.

- Max numbers of players: No idea what happened but cool.

- Draft: Should have happened ages ago.

- Checklist/Tutorial: Good idea. Could lead to other good ideas. Would be good to have mini games that people could play to spruce up social activity and fun.

- Features: Cool.

Overall: I think a lot of the changes are partially ok and partially just cosmetic. We need some real changes to the game engine and that's what prevents this game from going further. Making all these changes to the cosmetic parts of the game will only help so far. What we really need is more ability to develop strategies and that won't happen without GE changes.

Ouch... my legacy...

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).

Well at the moment it's definitely easier to win the B3 not 3, but 30 times in a row than doing what khenry did...

Sorry, I was just wondering where you read about the thousands of players. Maybe I misunderstood.
