It doesn't seem very logical that a player will 'calm' down just by placing him on the market so i would say it's just a coincidence

i have seen normally fine players foul out against lucky fans so maybe playing weak opposition encourages players to gamble more and get more fouls

also dont forget sometimes you play against a player who can be super aggressive and also if they are a super driver then they draw even more fouls

honestly i dont know why dell doesnt foul more, he seems super aggressive to me any every time i play against him (several times now) he fouls someone out or injures them, maybe it is because he mostly plays against flatfooted pfs with dr of 4 or less so he doesn't need to foul

I did draft this player, so maybe that has something to do with it. I don't think it would be that far fetched to think this was possible.

For what it's worth, that is my thinking.

Aggressiveness is stupid. Our players foul all the time and are always injured. We keep getting told that they will draw more fouls and injure others too but THIS IS A LIE! We had a game recently with a free throw imbalance of 52-14 wich left us one point down with the ball and one second to go. We lost. Aggressiveness should go both ways not just make your player worthless.

I noticed this as well. However, I'm not ready to say it is not due to GE random factor or an increased use of zone defense.

I also wonder how much it has to do with minutes played, stamina and the end game.

Here is my squad. The first two columns are PF/48 minutes. The next two columns are Min/PF

Player S15 S14 S15 S14
Vassilis Premetis 5.6 2.9 8.5 16.4
Jans Ytsma 4.9 2.1 9.9 22.5
Yunus Emre Dilyar 3.3 2.2 14.7 21.4
Darren Zoetebier 4.2 1.5 11.3 31.1
Massimo Bartolini 6.1 3.9 7.8 12.4
Péter Dúró 5.4 4.7 8.8 10.3
Marcos Amorrortu 1.5 1.5 32.5 31.1

Usually in real life, low fouls mean they suck at defense cos they are not playing in your face defense or trying hard enough to make defensive stops. It could be different in BB though =P

Oh you mean like how Lebron doesn't get called for defensive fouls cause he doesn't play D!? So true!

He only gets charging fouls.. sometimes.
