Hi all, I just restarted to BB. I've already played this game before, but not so much. I also played Hattrick for seasons competitively so I'm not very unfamiliar to BB too.

I'm going to play with only home-grown players, with the ones whom I recieved at the start and draftees because I don't have much time for games, and I just like to play games with different strategies than the usual ways. Although I can't spend much time for BB, I'm going to be a very dedicated manager and mentee to create miracles with my home-grown team :)

Those are the areas that I especially need help:

- I don't want from my mentor to tell me that being competitive with only home-grown players is impossible please :)

- Because of my strategy, drafts are very important but I nearly know nothing about drafts in BB. So I need help with draft strategies.

- How to properly construct arena and set ticket prices.

- Since I played Hattrick before, I'm a little familiar with training but I'd still like to take help about creating the most efficient training strategies.

Those are the areas that come to my mind at first.

Thanks in advance :)

You already have a clear understanding of what areas you need to cover. Btw I think it depends on what you mean about "being competitive", because to some it means winning the BBB, to others winning the top league in their country or featuring in the top division season after season.

I'd like to help you out but I don't have the time right now and, admittedly, draft strategy is one of the things I'm least knowledgeable about (because I only ever spent scouting points once when I did not know what I was doing). If nobody can help you or wants to take up your mentorship send me an in-game message in a couple of weeks and I'll help as much as I can.

I think some of the managers in this thread will be able to help you: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...
They all have homegrown teams.
Good luck in BB.

Hi everyone. I'm new in all this BuzzerBeater thing. I've been playing about a month and i have to work in a lot of things. I'd like to receive mentoring in every aspect of the game, specially in Drafts Strategies, Ticket prices and Stadium size.

Thanks in advance.

Is division 2 your last league? You shouldn't have started in divison 2. you'll be seasons behind the league I would advisse tanking to lower leagues in your country if you can. For the meanwhile i'm not ready to mentor anybody just yet since I havent accomplish anything spectacular so if your looking for me to be a mentor I would advise against it.

Heading on the right path so far. Are you?

A single click on his flag would have informed you that there are 41 users in Colombia, so yes, DII is the lowest league with human players.

Thanks for the advice. Didn't know that you can click on the flag to view the number of teams in the country.

Hi I was hoping someone could help mentor me with the future of my team. This is my second season and I've got the hang of the basics, spent my first two seasons training some big men but now I'm not sure on how to go forward and if I should be switching to train some guards next season or continue playing with bad guards while training my bigs further.

Would be happy to find someone who I can just shoot the occasionally question like that to for advice.

I saw the other help thread you opened. I can't promise to answer right away all the time, but I could give you feedback within a reasonable timeframe (1-2 days). I definitely can help you with your training. Been training big men on my main team and SF on my Utopia team (some made the U21).

Drop me an in game email if that's ok with you.

Hi there! I'm brand new to this game and looking for some advice for roster building and training. I've played one other sport sim before but don't have that much experience. When I got my team I tried to grab as many young, high ceiling players from the transfer list. However, to be honest I'm not sure where to go from here. Your advice is greatly appreciated :)
