Well quite many managers (in my opinion) buy a scrub for 1k, then sell or fire before the economic update, then buy another afterwards to avoid paying salary. I don't do this because the loss of the money in doing this is so tiny, that it's really negligible (just like...3k loss). And you could make money out of the selling the scrubs but it's not an easy task, even if there are new players.

I think this comes down to a div 1 team's salary vs a div 5 team's salary... in div 5, the 40-50k you can potentially save could be a fair bit of cash

40-50k??? No it's much smaller scale here. I'm only talking about 1-3k ish amount. If it was 40-50k, that's not negligible.

sorry, I should have been more clear, I multiplied the amount you'd save (~3k/week) by the number of weeks in the season. So I meant 40-50k in a season.

Ah I thought that's what you might have meant. Ok, that's fair enough. In the long run, you could be saving good amount of money which could be spent on something else. I guess you're right.

I know this thread is about a week old, but I just wanna thank everyone especially Pmfg10, cuz you were first to mention that I had no american players. I bought an 8.5k american player(highest salary on team) and my merchandise went up 2k, I'm looking to slowly increase the number of good American players on my team. Thank you All
