Inside Isolation: Your team finds their best inside scorer. Normal Pace.

Outside Isolation: Your team finds their best outside scorer. Normal Pace.

Outside Iso is like Patient, but normal paced and your best outside player takes most of the shots. Inside Iso is kind of strange. It does get the ball to your best inside scorer, but there are quite a few kickouts to the perimeter for 3s.

You have 2 monster players (11770651),(17113295) both of whom are national team members, I would use inside iso if the gameshape of my BIG is strong-proficient and the opposing team has weak inside defense. On the other hand, i would use outside isolation if the gameshape of my scorer is strong-proficient and the opposing team has weak perimeter defense. If you are playing both these players at the same time may i suggest you use patient and try to add good passers for your supporting cast so the AI coach will make the best decision whether you play inside or outside depending on your opponents defense.

My roster is not complete yet...next season i will buy an other big,(PF with some SF skills), and a SG with high passing and decent IS. I just wanted to know how those tactics would be useful for me. From the answers that i got, they will not be. Looks like the traditional offenses like motion/push/LP/LI would be better options. :)

I should know, as I use LP almost extensively. It can be very good if your bigs and guards have decent secondaries. A lot more 3s than LI, though.

I have not been able to find any considerable difference between inside and outside iso. They are both balanced tactics, with decent amount of outside and inside shots, that's about all I've learned so far...
