Are you on spotify?
I have some playlists with only norwegian music on from Rockheim the Norwegian Experience centre for Rock and Popular music. Everything from the fifties to death metal. Check out the website (http://www.rockheim.no)

somewhere in there it is a link to about 200 000 recordings of Norwegian music.

I'm into more or less everything. I can stay clear of Justin Bieber though. Most rock but open for suggestions..

Wow! Been a long time since I listened to those guys - thanks for the reminder! I bought the "Songs" album when it came out (1985), and funny enough I was into The Cure and Joy Division / New Order as well. Ultravox, Roxy Music, Duran Duran, Talk Talk was favourites as well back then, but my #1 band was Depeche Mode. During the 90/00's I was heavily into harder electronic music (and still is) after seeing Nitzer Ebb open for DM on their Black Celebration tour. Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Project Pitchfork, Covenant, Hocico, Spetsnaz, Laibach. Some norwegian acts of the genre are Combichrist (toured with Rammstein), Apoptygma Berzerk and Kant Kino. I also enjoy hard rock / metal alot - among my favourite all time bands are Motörhead (they still rock - saw them in Bergen last week), Alice in Chains, Metallica (up until 1991), Foo Fighters and not to forget - Dimmu Borgir! :-)

Listen in:

Depeche Mode - Wrong (great video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvfcnpJRf0Q
Front 242 - Tragedy For You (oh yes!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4oFcaVY8iQ
Nitzer Ebb - Control I'm Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkV-K2z357w&feature=re...
Front Line Assembly - Mindphaser: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJkGgAdmZPc

Spetsnaz - To the core: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22RSgiabtvU
Laibach - Tanz Mit Laibach (jawohl!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zSRcFxZVAA
Combichrist - All Pain is Gone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPW-uWslRbE
Kant Kino - Behind the wheel (DM Cover): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUqvwyR9yWA

Motörhead - Ace of Spades (yes!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BstyQX-kQQ
