I'm surprised, too; but I know that it wasn't You.

The situation for me is a bit funny.

First I didn't want to candidate.

Than here in the forum, I was asked, if I could stay.

I told you/ everybody, that I would stay, if there isn't anyone else from Scotland. So I stopped searching a "new" country. And some days later, there is the election and the majority voted for someone else. I understand who works democracy; but for me it's a bit unfair; that there wasn't a discussion about my work. No-one wrote during the two seasons and now, that I should change something or that he isn't satisfied with my work; but now they voted for a completly unknow italian guy.

Now, I can just wish him and the community good luck... and I'm interested, who he works!

Well only 12 people voted. The votes were 3,3,2,2,1,1. The guys that got 1 vote voted for themselves. Abbey manager got 3 votes too but somehow he got bumped. Blue heaven I assumed voted for himself plus 1 other vote.

Presumably the winner privately mail the voters and get them to vote for him. Could actually be a better tactic coz not all manageers come to forums.

probably "better", but not allowed.

It's the same situation like 3 seasons ago with RickJames.

For me it wouldn't be a problem, if for example Mikey said, that he wants to be the NT. Than I wouldn't even candidate.
But some managers voted for themselves -which was not enough- and a stranger won the election

I was the "other" who voted Bock and I made it clear since he decided to run. I hope it won't be like Rick James' times but the big mistake was not to be clear at the beginning. I saw different manager running without saying anything or trying to find an agreement before the election. This is my point of view obviously but I did this way last election.

Lots of them, which I duely ignored. I didn't know that's not allowed however.

Mikey didn't make a speech or anything on the forum, but I did notice his name there on the candidate list, and I pointed that out after wondering if any scottish managers are coming forward in the forum.

That Italian guy have quite good record with his own team (though not exactly "top of his country and the world for some time" as he claimed), lets see what happens.
