Forfeiting a scrimmage affects your opponent way more than you. DON'T DO IT! It is really harsh.

Field three players atleast. Even if you have to buy three scrubs for $1000 each. It is a BB courtesy imo, if you choose not to atleat let your opponent know whats up.

Alright, I was wondering how it would affect my opponent as well. I don't want to pull a jerk move and strip away his training opportunity.

So all I need to do is field three players and it will sim a normal game?

considering it will also generate training minutes for you you could also consider cross training someone out of position who does need some more minutes or even giving training minutes to an older player say age around 25 who you usually wouldnt waste them on

there are lots of possibilities

if you do end up planning a forefit try to give your opponent at least 24 hours notice so they can plan but it does make it impossible to give anyone the crucial 48+ in the scrimmage

game shape is going to reset soon so dropping 1 lvl of game shape at this point isnt a big deal at this point.

The OP is in the playoffs so game shape can be critical, for a successful run.

I disagree. GS doesn't reset till the off season and if your in the playoffs you want to have the best GS you can get.

I agree gameshape is very critical , but does he already have crappy game shape or is it maxed and would it only drop one lvl or might not drop at all. I am not sure if going from proficient to strong will make that much of a difference. Others may say it makes a huge difference. Now if it dropped him 2 lvls that would definately suck.

And looking at the game shape for both teams it looks like you have done a pretty good job of keeping yours managed all season and the team you are going to play has not. he only has one player at proficient and everyone is is average or awful. I dont condone dropping your game shape just to save another teams training minutes. Probably best not to drop your game shape.

The suggestion just to pick up 3 players for $1000 each makes the most sense. Doesn't cost much and keeps your opponent happy.
