Well try to sell someone and then speak. Thank you. These waves may even remove the possibility to sell players for living teams - i.e. rebuilding.

I have no clue what you're trying to say. Could you be a bit more specific please.

You can't really argue by the news. Some changes was announced and not made (defenses). BBs are unpredictable to some extent.

The fact it happens now (in terms of parts of season) is really awful. I think natural rises and drops of pricing throughout the season should stay. Now, buyers have advantage, sellers (not daytraders) are screwed becaused psychologically many prefers to buy a FA rather than a normal player. Now we could have x times more of them instead normal value - market will be screwed and unbalanced.

How about this novel idea:

Invest your money in the most competitive team you can afford, try to win as many games as you can. You will get more attendance, maybe more playoff or cup games, etc. If you invest in the right players/staff for your team you will likely increase your net income. When you have made alittle bit of money, use that to upgrade a starter or add a good young trainee.

In this case you'll probably be selling and buying at the same time, so you'll be mostly unaffected by inflation/deflation. I can't feel sorry for someone that sits on a pile of cash and then suddenly has less buying power cause of inflation, or plans on selling off their players to build up a big pile of cash but then the market decreases and causes that to be a poor plan. If you want to try playing the market then don't complain when it doesn't go your way.

not-announce of something nobody knew: "the increase in the number of retired players who are listed as FAs".

How are the BB's able to predict how many teams would leave the game and how the market changes would lure more retired players back into the game, in turn, effecting how many FA's there are? There's too many variables for them to see exactly what is going to happen, same as it is for us.

I can understand that it might suck if the market turns one way or another and hurts the choices that you made. But, it's the same for everyone. I don't expect FA's to have a major effect on prices, but if I spent a huge sum on a player recently (which I did) and it turns out I should have waited a bit I'm not going to blame the BB's.

I think the same here. Changes are equal to everyone so I don't say that these changes are design to hurt specific people or anything like that. I also think that is part of your skill as a manager to be able to ride the changes.

To be honest, I have not made any proposal about how to inform managers. Not that I have to.

Again, my point is, I believe BBs should inform us better when it comes to strategic thinks like these. If two weeks ago BBs told us that they might be increasing the amount of FA and one week ago told us that there is going to be an increment, you could decide with the right information whether to sell your player or not. With the information they provide us now, you have to make a blind call. With better information you can try to figure how the market will respond and based on your judgement, make a decision.

My concern is that many people, like you, have to make blind calls when it comes to this sort of situations. The outcome of this does not depend on your skill(or how good where your judgements). They depend on BBs calls who currently only them know.

Maybe the way I am heading this is not what BBs want for their game. Maybe It will start to unbalance the game into a financial game instead a basketball game and that something they might not want.

I did buy high, but I also sold high to supplement the purchases. It mostly evens out over time. I think those that choose to play this as a financial game instead of a basketball game are the ones most at risk by drastic changes in the market.

I would like to know if this pack of FAs from season 4 (or somethink like this) was automatic process of generating FAs because there were fulfill some conditions for it. Or if it was only immediate decision of BBs " now it's time to generate some more FAs" and they generate them manually.
If it was automatic process, it's ok and only question what are the conditions for it? (So that we can predict when they come again.)
If it was immediate decison, so it would be quite anxious.

It was an automatic process. The condition was X Salary Y age afaik (not 100% sure though). F.e 6k for 18yo 15k for 19yo 30k for 20+.

I'm not sure if you understand my questions. I meant FAs which retired at season 4, but appeared on TL as FA this week.
