Impossible to rain on the event.. Like national day, they have done cloud seeding..

Oh.. didn't know they do it for running events also..

New Bak Kut Teh Kings shocked Shohoku Backers, blew past the home team with 107-80

It was supposed to be a tight game, but BKT kids wanted otherwise.

Led by Giovanni Donnaruma, their leader hot hands, BKT quickly jumped into a double digit lead that ballooned to 58-36 in the halftime. Sapian bin Bidi & Lim Shi Xin went on fire on third quarter, sending the worst moment for the home team Backers, as they saw the deficit were up to 31 points. Even though BKT pulled in their starters on 4th, those benchwarmers are still just too much for Shohoku Backers.

Seven BKT players scored in double digit. Donnaruma led with 20pts and 8rebs, Arnaud Billot has 17, Lim Shi Xin 16pts 13rebs, Bidi 14points and Ahmad Islam had 13pts and 4blk. Daugalis Å pilevskis led Shohoku Backers with 21pts and 8rebs. Singaporean Kwek Jin Jin has 15 pts and 18rebs. Their new SGP acquitances, ex U21 Deng Jin Yau, weren't ready for the game and just chipped with 4 points.

With the upset victory, BKT advanced to semifinal to face Singapore best team Eric United.
