I'm struggling with idea to invest all cash into arena.

Return Of Investment (ROI) is extremely long.
- With maximum ticket prices and full arena it is only 10 weeks (home games) in all seat categories. Of course after 10 weeks you will make nice profit every week.
- But if your ticket price is half of the maximum price, it will take 20 weeks (home games), and again your arena should be sold out
- And in some cases I have seen that ticket price is less than third from maximum, then ROI is over 30 weeks

Only seats I think can be sold out with maximum ticket prices are VIP (of course, there is no seats by default) and courtside original 50 seats. So investments on those seats I see very reasonable.

So my thinking is just opposite, first I should get sold out arena with maximum ticket prices, then I will extend my arena. Of course I will loose some money every week, but I can invest on better trainer, better trainees, draft, players etc. more. I do not know if my investments will have any better ROI, we will see.

And no any offense, this was just my two cents and thinking aloud

And then facts: 72485 from last game, upper and lower tier sold out (I will raise prices), record 7-8, only two wins in May because I sold out all vets very early. Salaries 34k.

As long as you're winning games, the ROI will be quicker. So a staggered approach between expanding the arena and improving the team seems good.

Speaking of ROI, it's hard to tell about the draft. We don't even know if Utopia will have a National Team, and it'll take forever to get a Utopia-player-only team good enough to where merch bonuses matter. Then again, if we do have a Utopia NT, their will be a very small pool of players to choose from, increasing the likelihood for drafted players to make it.

I'm making 65k a week from ticket sales with a 0 win season. My thinking is take a little longer to promote but when I do I will have a arena that can bank in on the promotion bonus. I can see teams making Div I with only about 10k in arena seats and limited Lux and Court side seats. Once a team comes in with a decent arena their income will be much higher.

But it's all guess work at this stage. Time will tell.

I have spent 1 033K$ this year to build my arena, I have around 7 300 places. I planned to spend the same amount of money next year to have a lot of income.

I just did some heavy research and checked all the Arenas in Utopia which are bigger than mine (i am at #23).
I compared the amount of investment (current expansions included).
My information might be allready inaccurate because there are constant expansions all over the place.

But one thing is certain (and shocked me): there are allready at least 8 Areans worth more than 2 million.

PS.: If you are over 1,7 million you are in the top 20.

I'm curious about total ticket sales for these monster Utopian arenas. How quickly will they make their money back from this investment?

At a certain point, it becomes more prudent to win games, which would sell more tickets at higher prices. Or even to promote where the return of your investment would be even greater, than it would be to keep expanding.

Also curious if any of the Top 20 are in D.III?

No there are just 2 Arenas over 1,4 Million (but i can't remember those numbers exactly).
In their last homegames the Top 20 averaged $ 79424,55. So their income is pretty bad. (At least compared to mine)
