Awesome writeup! I decided to stay mum until after the match because I decided that it will be unfair if I reveal it earlier, at least you or SHP will get a fair chance in the finals, especially when competition between you 3 are so tight. I guess V has finally got the revenge against my team for the cup finals.

Anyway congrats for making the playoff finals! Looks like we have an exciting finals to look forward to while we wait for Boston vs Mavs.

PhantoMech is no pushover really. To be fair, my squad now is much weaker than when I beat him in the Cup. Even though my top 3 players are better his best player, but his whole starting lineup earns at least 100k, and his two subs are still way better than my other 2 starters. I think he could also beat me if I sent my full team. But then I can't risk paying salary this Monday, so better be safe than sorry haha.

LDS can match his starting lineup, so we'll see if the bench players make the difference. Can't count him out because if he can pull off 2 masterclass winsagainst SHP, he can do it to anyone.

Aiyo what kind of revenge is that when you just throw the game xD
I actually half-wanted to go playoff normal but vs the team who dealt me the only three losses I have this season in cup and in league.. that's just too risky haha

Meanwhile at liondash camp

coach : Juan Montoya is having the mvp season. His leadership and skill is something we need to take note. he is just special. Technically we never win them before.

Ghanya : Hopefully I can trash talk with him to slow him down. This going be a tough game.

Congrats V for defending the SBBL!
I thought it would go down to game 3, but everything got settled tonight.

Good games! I was a bit worried at Robbins' 51pts explosion and almost wanted to put Montoya on him... but Ghanya is a huge threat too as shown through is 47pts game 2. Glad we were still able to pull away with a win.

But Montoya really gives a steady presence, from coming in last season to contribute to the title and leading the team this season despite more senior players in terms of age and time on the time, Montoya has grown to be the core of the team, and will hopefully continue to do so for many seasons ahead!

I'll also have to commend Ray Moses who took a backseat to allow younger players to develop, but still perform consistently when called upon, esp in game 1.

Thank you! Yeah I couldn't take any risks as LDS is no slouch either, and glad my big men stepped up to defend the boards much better than in game 1.

Am also lucky to be able to build on last season's success by bringing in more key players while the rest are still building up or rebuilding... now to think of how to maintain into the next season while hopefully continuing to develop the youths.
