I don't know. I really have the feeling that 3/2 defense is the bebst way to defend at the moment... agaisnt every type of tactique...

Well, they made no major change to the game except SB...

If the SB change made 3-2 zone trump all over the rest of the defensive tactics, I agree with Trainerman that something is really wrong for a basketball simulation. In the real world it makes very little sense to play a 3-2 zone to defend a team which scores mostly in the paint

yes.. but man to man is still stronger.. all need in 3-2 zone is a very good sf. or play 4 guards. the defense will do the rest.

that what we are seeing. sf/pf build like guards than can defend with sb.. it expensive a same cost effective long term.

If we switch the 3-2 formula to 2-3 it should work as well. Only difference is you put 2 paitent shooting built pf in with good defense pf /c . It should work. the other 3 are sf built guards with sb and defense.

It not as expensive as it sound. Actually its cost effective.

that would depend on sf defensive ability. if the team trys to get inside. the lane are shut down. driving lead to block shots.

If the opposing team pf/c have good id and sb also the sf. what can the home inside team do. The pf and center have no jumper. the guards cant pass inside or shoot they are well defended.

inside tactics are for driving and paint play. all the offense point production is on the big men shoulder to score and maybe the sg sometime depending on how he is built.. with hybrid guards and dynamic sf and pf being made now. Li is not going to win like it use to. Unless you have a really, really powerful version of it.

the LI guards builds are too weak compared to how a 3-2 guard defenders has to be built, that also play huge roll in the offensive side because of their said builds. cut cooker Li built work sometimes at the same you need an expert Li build to be very effective , I still do think Li is way to strong through.

That my opinion. not a fact

Create an Auto bid function
I don't need it. As I'm playing Hattrick I know how annoying this function can be.

Stop LCD & blanks +Improve current subs options
It seems that this will be solved soon.

Further reduce the financial advantages of tanking
For me this is the most important point. Reduce revenue and even think about changing the draft towards a NBA lottery.

Fix Micronations through combining them

Develop and release an "App"
Would be very nice and could really help with the popularity of BB.

Balance strengths of strategies&costs (or prove=)
It's up to us to make the strategies work. Not everything is BBs fault. Mostly it's our fault because we tend to go the easiest way and stay on those roads that already are well travelled.

Reducing the effectiveness of game shape training
No. If someone wants to train game shape for ages - it should be up to him. He'll not have much fun on Friday's trainingupdate. This is a tradeoff like many others in this game.

Increase the speed that players can be trained at
BB players already train at really high speed if you compare BB with e.g. Hattrick. I don't think training speed should be increased further. It will only produce more capped players and more players that noone can afford in the long term.

The same with potential: potential is one of the factors that make BB so much better than Hattrick. It's boring if I can train any player to any level. Potential just makes everything more interesting and fun. Luck and bad luck always should be a part of this game!

True for only half of it. And even for the first half it all boils down to Marin making it work this season after he said the results were not satisfactory last season.

Ultimately very few people play this game to experiment with extreme/very unconventional solutions...we could try to clone Nachtmahr a few times perhaps. When you talk about "the easiest way" you effectively describe the problem. Winning with some setups is easier (players to build are easier to create) or cheaper (players cost less) or both. In this respect there will always be an optimal solution, however at the moment the best set up considering both easy+cheap seems to be significantly more efficient than the second best.

Most people are asking to reduce the effectiveness, not completely removing it from the game.

Hattrick has a liquid transfer market and you can get a lot of trainees per season from your youth academy (roughly equal to receiving 6/7 draftees). The training speed there is offset by the fact that you can find a lot of mid-point-trained players at market prices, which is not the case here.

I don't think anybody mentioned it before, but Karangula's points made me wonder what people think about increasing the number of draftees to 4? I know they changed the 19yo draftees already, but this would help further without changing much at all (only the overall quality of retained draftees will improve though, the will still be randomly generated though). Or maybe give more trainees to smaller nations, like micronations, to slightly compensate for their lack of users? No idea just throwing random suggestions out there.
