Someone said they wouldn’t focus on the cup. Depends on your league. If he is winning 20+ games every year but now needs to sell his players, I was saying that he could probably take it easy during most league games and try harder in the cup to help keep his players. He will still likely win 18-22 games and it might help him. I have also found that most teams in higher divisions are more focused on their league games and upsets happen more in cup games.

Good luck in the cup Wardo. I look forward to seeing Pelham Celtics win the league this season.

No way they are going to win the league this season. I am focusing on cup and scouting for the national and under 21 teams. I beat them several time in our series against each other and I beat them last season while they beat you in a regular season. I also beat them with 5 players and a wasted crunch.

Does it matter to be honest?. 20 win is 20 wins, You rather keep them losing in the playoffs and dominating the regular season throughout the leagues 20+ wins every season, gaining mass income season after season. Again 20+wins for 5 season is 100 wins. Bot manager or not, that is dominate in any level of play on the game imho. Dominating bots wont get them any better either, If we use your point of view.

The staff and owners of the game only make new managers from old bot teams. That is the end of their responsibility pretty much in that aspect. Promoting 20+ win team to a higher levels of player fulfills this responsibility for the sake of competitiveness and fairness in income also learning curve. Is a manager weaker or stronger upon promoting?, That is up to the specific manager to prove. Bots do matter in that.

I don't think.

Yes

No. I would rather them learn how to win the playoffs. Also, there is more revenue from promoting. Get your facts right.

And who should demote to give extra spots then? Teams who not only earned their spot and also did enough to keep it?

Less than a season ago the OP didn't even know how to manage enthusiasm. He is still learning the game and getting smashed twice a week won't teach him anything he can't learn where he is.

Me and Lambini had a very interesting strategy for my 2nd final appearance and lost in the finals. I am still trying to figure it out myself and I been here for 21 seasons now.

We won the rebounding battle against California and it was a part of a scheme since my guessing is that California runs multiple tactics every game.

I have no issue with the system of demotion or promotion. I said, A strong 20+ win team should promote for the sake of league fairness and economic fairness, to punish a manager for his opponent in front of him is silliness. He/she has no control of that. A league championship only shouldn't be the only up to increase competition.
