I understand, but even with atrocious jump shot people don't have a 0 from 58 record. Whilst with atrocious free throws they do, and free throws are much easier.

I think there are no atrocious FT shooters in any D1 (all that were drafted prolly got booted anyway). There can be atrocius FT shooters in the lower leagues.
Team trainings are there for a reason. If you do not like your stamina or ft shooting, please train them.

I don't play basketball, but I would bet my life that I would score at least 1 out of 58 free throws.

I'm pretty sure you will not, atleast in a competitive game. Anybody can hit FT-s in practice. Real game has a different atmosphere.

Are you serious? 1 in 58 is nothing. A monkey could make that. And for me there isn't going to be any pressure because the score of the game isn't going to make a difference. If I stood at the free throw line and kept shooting shot after shot, I would definitely make 1 in the first 10 shots, let alone 58 shots.

Exactly! Do you have a proposed solution in mind?

i find the argumentation reasonable, but i prefer to live with the old system. maybewith an little systrem boost, so that palyer with the lowest free throw skill are able to hit at least 1 of 10 ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2P9qCPkI-4&feature=fv... - i ahad to think on him when it comes to atrocious free throws, and he isn't really big so i expect he had at least a decent mid range jumper when he makes it to the NBA.

What about a simpler solution such as training free throws results in 2 popups gauranteed. So if you have pitiful free throw, after training it for 1 week you will have inept free throw. Then after another week of training free throw you have average free throw.

Just something to make it quicker.

Or combine free throw training and stamian training together, so that you just choose team training and it trains free throws AND stamina for that week.

the overall impürovement in free throws is pretty high, you get from 0% to ~40-50% with two trainings, and it is a good training in my eyes if you had some player with ft below average(and i aslo thing that it often trained).

Making it now faster would hurt the guys who trained it in the past, thats why i always carefully in changing core aspect with no real need.
