What are you talking about? You drew the hapless Jugglers, whom you beat by 50 points a couple weeks ago. If I were you, I'd be more concerned about a top Div II team, that might actually try to field a competitive squad. You got an easy draw.

Sorry, my bad, you actually beat them by _65_ points, not 50. Yeah, you have every reason to be worried... :)

Injuries and mismanaged minutes took their toll on the Rebels this week as we crashed out of the tourney...disappointing but it showed the need for a better doctor and a bit more depth at the 2 guard spot.

Oh yes, beating your 2nd and 3rd string players by 50+ points was the highlight of my career (with me playing normal and you playing TIE, no less). You also had your best C playing PG.

I know you could make the game interesting if you choose to... Just take a look at our rivalary history. But you do have a tough week. So while I hope to get your B-team again, I will be playing for a worst case scenario.

Hey, if you exit from the cup this week, will that change your strategy to finish 7th in Naismith?

I kind of thought you were trying to set me up. I almost played normal today... Turns out that I didn't have to despite the crunch. Good thing my defense rose to the challenge.

If it wasn't for a lucky half court heave at the end of the 2nd I think your your TIE might've come back to haunt you.

I am sure there was some luck involved - but pts per 100 says the game came out the way it should have. On the other hand, you never know what you are going to get with a TIE vs crunch as the enthusiasm difference really messes with the random element of the game.

Actually, if I went out against a crunch to him I would have had no problem with that. I think he just gives a lot more value to winning a cup game than I do (either that or I really got to him somehow, which is too bad because I never meant to be offensive towards him).

Although... once I am at this point I will put everything in my tank to make it to the round of 16 (now the revenue starts to matter and the extra game during all-star week is sweet). But, if SNW takes me out with a crunch I will not lose any sleep over it. ;-)

Ha! Well, the cup is all about luck. If I draw you, Torooo or Random Noise it is a TIE and I'm done. Well, maybe if I get you at home I would seriously weight my options, but that's another story. Other Naismith teams if I am on the road a B-team TIE would also be in order.

Well, maybe I am wrong but I think I can beat SNW on the road. I think my new pick-up should help in that department. He is in bad game shape but he was still lethal off the bench today (if you consider 31 minutes coming off the bench).

I see you picked up a solid PG increasing your salaries to $464,977. That's getting dangerously close to Random Noise territory.
