One of the most attractive features of the new offsite forum, English Communities United is the newspaper. The founder of the forum, GM-Revo a.k.a Athrun Zala explains why you won't want to miss out on it:
The newspaper has several goals. IF i'd have to name a couple,I'd say that there are 3 main goals.
The first would be to give people a review of the seasons of there representative teams ( both U21 and NT) as well as the top divisions and cup tourney of there country. It's always fun to read a bit about how things went on in your top division, and it also invites people to discuss it. They'll have more information, with possible some inside information from Head coach or staff, which will keep them more informed in which direction there representative teams are moving. It also gives you a chance to get more involved and share your opinions on the representative teams. The representative teams staff often works to their best capabilities to get the best possible results for the country. Feedback is often a welcome thing especially if you've done well. Many people tend to judge representative coaches by the results they achieve, but they forget about all the work that is done for the future generations. If more people are involved, then results will end up better because Staff know that there efforts are greatly appreciated and followed by many. There is nothing more frustrating than to work hard for a community that is seemingly indifferent to the amount of effort you are putting in for them.
The second goal is to promote more activity within the communities. Therefor, a review of the top divisions of each ECU community has been included. Hopefully, more people will be interested in contributing in the communities in general, so that more information can be shared, which ultimately leads to playing this game to it's full extend. BB isn't just a basketball simulation game anymore. In a lot of countries, there is a community part of the game too. Of course, the manager has a choice if he wants to take part in the community discussions, but it's pretty surprising considering how very few are active in the ECU communities. Most of them are active in Help threads, but it's always fun to have an own active community.
And the 3rd major goal, is to create a spot where information can be shared with for all. I know that France has a great information exchange forum, where a lot of interesting research happens and i'm assuming that the other large communities, such as Italian, Spanish, American and Chinese communities, just to name a few, have got a similar way to share information. However, it would be unfair not to share information with the slightly smaller communities, which each of ECU's current communities is part off.
The 3rd goal is to share information with others, and what would be the best way to share it with communities than by using a 'newspaper'? Hence, the interviews are included, which will feature some of BB's finest managers, asking them specific questions about certain items that hopefully, will be able to help the new managers who are aiming for the top, achieve their goals a bit faster because they have the input of veteran experience managers. If everyone has to learn things by trial and error, then it will take forever for a team from IV to reach there nations top leagues. Hopefully, by reading interviews with BB's finest, they'll pick up a few things that could speed up there process of moving up (or train the ultimate superstar. Cause not all managers are aiming for the top divisions. Some want to train players in the best possible way). So hopefully, this newspaper will be a place that gathers tips and invites people to take part in discussions so that others learn more about this great game.
Those are the 3 main goals behind this newspaper. Some extra funny things will be added to the newspaper to make things fun, such as places to honor the greats of the community etc. But if you truly want to
