Eric United beat Shohoku Backers for third straight Singapore Cup winner 97-83

The higher popularity still precede everything, ask those teams with NT cladded players.

Eric United overcomes the Shohoku "Badboy" Backers threat, led most of the game and finished the Final Cup with huge margin 97-83. Even though SHB put 100% effort to guard the painted area, that doesn't matter much to EU. That allow Augusto Gomez to operate well at outside (which normally a hell for SHB opponents) and scored easily at will, even dished 10 assists. Gomez led EU with 17 points and 11 assists.

A questionable tactic by SHB also shocked the crowds, instead using their powerful inside play, they turned into unusual patient play. Minutes management were also overlooked, as players looked fatigue on final quarters and not able to rally their deficit. Helder Brasao led SHB with 32 points.

With the victory, it gives Eric United 4th straight appearance at B3 world.

Flyer Sonic won important game vs Lionx XII 97-94

Perhaps the best Sonic game on this season, and most memorable ones.

Void deck at their best when their superstar Peh Jian Long is on fire. Captain Peh were tuned up early, scored tons of buckets and with 12 points before halftime with Sonic leading 47-46. At quarter three, the fire didn't stop. PJL kept hitting from all angles, even made a pair of three point shots. After the second trey sank in, fans were in nuts. Sonics still have a good lead with time winding down, and lead as big as six before Abdul Rauf Ishak made a meaningless 3pointer to cut into 3. Once the game ends, Sonics crowds screamed "MVP!! MVP!!" just before the game ends. PJL scored a huge 29 points to go with 22 rebounds. Li An Wen second with 20 and 15. Evan "Eric Snow" Mead have 18 points and 8 assists.

Interviewed about his best game of the season, PJL said "being matched up with bigtime center Chung Wen Xin and Mo Jian Ting, my spirit felt challenged and i have a big reason to play my best. Happy that we won tonight!"

Meanwhile at SHP arena, Shohoku Backers successfully vent out their frustation by knocking down the home team SHP with 84-79. Unable to show Eric United their badboy play, SHP were suffered with their constant turnovers and misses. SHB lead all the way since quarter 1 behind the strong play of Deng Jin Yau. However, SHP did strike back behind Bengdt Oer hot hands. However, they run out flat at final minutes, and Dauglas Spislevkis extend three point lead to six with his dagger midrange. Deng Jin Yau led with 20 points. DMitri Sapsay has 20 and 16 rebounds.
