from the rules http://www.buzzerbeater.com/BBWeb/rules.aspx?nav=Staff2:

Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will also help him heal more quickly, but the effect is much smaller than the initial reduction in severity. Doctors can have the following specialties:

* Taping Injuries: There is a small chance that a player's minor injury can be taped up immediately, and he will be able to return to the game at the start of the next quarter.
* Massage: Players who play too many minutes in a given week will not experience as severe a drop in game shape.

in my experience, after i played one player for more than 80 minutes in a particular week, he got injured in a game the next week. so i think too much minutes definitely affects the possibility of injuries. i have also experienced having 2 different players being injured in 2 different games, but didn't stay injured after those games (due to the level of my doctor i think).

pero based on experience:

wala.. doctors does not prevent injuries pero they make it less severe. for example: having an injured player with lvl 1 doctor takes 4 weeks before he can play. on the other hand, having lvl 7 doctor will take only 2 weeks for the injury before he can play. although im not 100% sure and through other BB players lng rin basehan ko, basta ganun yung pagkakaintindi ko

siguro depende rin sa type ng injury kung kelan pwede makapaglaro yung player.. sa akin di pa ko nakaexperience ng 4 weeks injury for a player or even 2 weeks.. there are several times na nainjure ung player ko pero nung tiningan ko kinabukasan wla na injury.. i have lvl 3 doctor :-)

that's what i meant sir... although random ang injuries, more minutes on the playing court = more risk for injury. kamalasmalasan lang sa buhay ng player na ma-iinjure ;)

but i'm wondering if game shape will affect the "randomeness" of injuries? anyone?

so ang opinion ko dito may factor yung intensity(take it easy/normal/crunchtime) ng paglalaro ng team ko o ng kalaban.

i agree.
