The schedule is not totally random. Each team has 3 home and 4 away games in the first conference third of the season (or vice versa) and the opposite in the last third. Each team have 4 road and 4 home interconference games. The schedule of the last third is the same as the first third, but with home/road inverted.

If your first game is at home, you will play on the road in the ASG week (which has only 1 league game and potentially 2 cup games). I believe you can't have more than 2 consecutive games both on the road or at home, at least I have never seen a team with 3.

Each teams has 3 TV games, one in each third of the season. There is one TV game for the whole league each week. This are randomly selected but they are pretty heavily constrained as no team can play a TV game twice in the same third of the season.

I have 3 home games in a row this season. Last two in the first phase, first of the second phase.

Yes the ASG thing is not always true, it just down to chance I guess. Just seen a team with both on the road and 4 road games in the first third of the season. Yikes

For three or four consecutive seasons early on in my time here, I used to draw the "lucky" three consecutive road game schedule - my last two before interconference would be on the road and then the first game against the other conference was also on the road. It also meant that I got to end the season with two straight home games, which was nice, once I got to that point.

They really should change that then. It would be better if it was streamlined and nobody had weeks without income apart from the first or ASG.

I don't see the 3 home games in a row in your schedule though

That wasn't my schedule - that was whomever I replied to. (I screwed up editing the quoted post). But the best example of the three road game stretch for me was season 22 - I had the three road games, plus the two Cup games I played in those weeks were also on the road. If it weren't for one of the two PL games being at home, I could have just shut down the arena to finally clean the stench out of it.

I always though they are crossed so that doesn't happen. Because having 3 straight road games, having the first game on the road and ASG on the road means that in some weeks you have no home games. I thought it was sensible the script would balance these issues so everyone has only 1 week with no revenues. I never had 3 straight home games and normally I get 1 and 1 between first week and ASG, but I'm not completely sure about this.

You can take the 4 red who played at home and pair them with the 4 blue that played away the first week and so on. Not that hard actually.

If you are really unlucky you could have 3 road games to start the season and ASG on the road. That's 3 weeks of no revenues which will balance out but only towards the end of the season. It is already a big difference if your first game is at home and if you have 4 home games in the first third of the season, as in D1 that means you will carry $500k cash more than other teams for most of the season.
