Western Titans vs. Gisborne Gladiators

The Titans was devasted after having the best record in division 2.4 but only found themselves bowing out in the semis. They will be looking amends this new Buzzerbeater season. While on the other hand, the Gladiators are slowly trotting along in division three still training their highly talented youngsters.

The game was one sided as expected as the Titans didn't have much trouble to account for against the Gladiators.

Monkey Business vs. TEAM LORDY

Easily game of the week in the West! After setting a play by the coach, with 12 seconds left at the fourth quarter the Monkeys risked a deep 3 point shot and somehow Nikolov made it tying the game up. Tsurkan responded by taking the final shot. This was surprising given Underwood had been the go to man all night. Tsurkan would miss the shot. Nobody prior to the start of the game would have suspected this would have gone into OT.

The score really doesn't reflect how much the Bogans dominated the game. It was really a 3pt shootout with the Bogans jacking up 32 3pt attempts and the All-Sorts responding with 27 attempts of their own. Hard to give votes for. Malevanyi gets it for simply not wasting as many 3pt attempts as the rest.

Well Magliacane has again taken control of the field, now leading by 3 as many of the contenders failed to pick up votes. However there is still a massive gap back to a host of players on 7. There is almost 2 separate races. one for the title and one for the remaining top 10 spots.

Now this was the kind of game we have come to expect from the Fishbowl. A see-sawing battle with both sides genuine chances to take the chocolates. However on this occasion it was the Bogans winning it, and managing to keep the turnovers down to a minimum, to make up for the slight disadvantage on the boards.

Another good game here, in the last week before they turn bot the Troopers failed to send their fans away with happy faces, despite only trailing by a point with a quarter to go. The BHB 2-3 zone got the job done in the end. It is pretty handing knowing that your opponents are always going to play the same tactics.

This was a big win for the All-Sorts, due to the Titans being backed by everyone in the Tipping Comp to get the job done. Mendez obviously wasn't given the script and took matters into his own hands, helping his team win every quarter.

Underwood and Cazaldo are in great positions to get 2nd, with Salas and Paranaese having left their Fishbowl teams.
