Since we are talking about the IS effect on PG and SG, what do you think both of them should have (minimum) in terms of IS when playing in your team's division?

For current division I don't think they need more IS than they already have. If I were in Div.5, I'd much rather train DR for purpose of going to the rim instead of IS since in Div.5 managers probably don't care a lot about secondaries on their guards like ID and SB.

I have a PG that constantly improved in DR and JS as I moved up to higher leagues and he always maintained %FG above 0.400. I always played PtB or LI to maximise his potential though. Now he looks like this:

JS 13, JR 6
OD15, HA 13
DR 14, PA 12
IS 2

When I play outside tactics, I always play him at SF.

So unless you are facing really tough opponents that you will start seeing in D.III and D.II, Inside shot is really not a priority, but more a luxury; high DR will do.

For D.V, I think DR 11 on your guards will be more than enough to beat the hell out of every team you face.

Thank you for your opinion.

Edit: My players who often play as PG have 7 and 3 (very close to 4).

In my opinion, it is useful for a SG player to have a higher IS.If he have a high level of Dr and HD,he can make more shots(outside and inside) in the match.

At least level 5 makes a diference.
Hey, I've noticed that some blocking helps on defense. I have a PG/SG with 7 on the skill and is in the top 10 of my league in blocks! But I wouldn't give a lot of trainning on this skillsfor salary reasons.

I have no doubt that shot blocking helps on defense, even if you don't notice that in terms of blocked shots made.

Yes,I also think that the higher Shot Blocking skills, the higher salaries will be!Jump Range and Shot Blocking must be controlled at a lower level.

i have sf with 7 blocking and 2 game this seazon he made 8 blocks per game! averages like 3.4 blocks per 32 mins, id say that really helps, atleast at weak leagues like V and IV
