i dont know if anyone is training big guys, but heres a guy for consideration...think he would be worth saving, he is up for sale now!

I'm training big guys, but I wanted to switch to Guards at the end of the season. We'll see - if I get him for a couple of dollars, he's going to get quite a lot of ID and IS ... even though he kind of needs rebounds as well :-)

Id' watch it on that one. I don't think he has the potential to be on the Scotland National team, despite our roster at the moment. His potential will only allow him a salary of 100-130k, and his secondary skills JS/OD/PS are just way too low, even for a C at the top level. If you feel he can be a contributor at U21 level, that's fair enough. If we have dedicated trainers, we need to find better draftees for them! lol.

Keep an eye out for players though! It's really useful!

Yes, I just kind of bookmarked him. I don't expect him to play in the NT ... U21 might be possible but at the moment, I would rather try to find a better suited player ... that has better skills to start with :-)

yeh i know where your coming from, but anyone that can get up to that level is always beneficial given the lack of good players available.
It doesnt help the drafts seem to be poor, or the 2 i have been around for have been.

yeah the last 4 or 5 seasons drafts haven't been great.

I thought when they introduced the new scouting system it would change but it hasn't changed a lot at all to be honest.

Yeah, the NBBA draft was just horrible this year too. You maybe get 2 players that have any sort of potential! Training of all players helps.

If you can, get any friends you have to sign up, if not during the season, at least before the next draft. They will be put in a lower league with bots, and get the pick of the drafts. If they do that and train correctly (I'll be posting a friends blog on this shortly) they could have Scotland U21 NT players within the year.

ive been trying, managed to get 3 of my friends like a week after i signed up but one dropped out and the other doesnt use it that much although hes getting into it now. im hoping i can get some more guys from my actual basketball team to sign up but need to wait till september to get in touch with the new guys.

How many seasons have you been playing james?

my first game was the 2nd game in season 12 so about 5/6 seasons.

It's difficult to get people to join the game and stay as it's a game that you either like it or don't sadly most people want instant success which isn't realistic.

It would be interesting if they added a draft pick trade or something so the lower teams don't always get first choice. Could help all countries.

I know that response for sure. But if we do it tactically, and i'm hoping this is in the best interest of the game, at least get them on in time for the draft each year so we can get some more young Scottish guys in the wide BB world! If they get a team, draft, and sell them!

ahh ok, yeh there is a lot of waiting about particularly if your boderline of promotion/demotion. i think i could have got promoted both seasons i have played but my decision the first time to take it easy beat me and then this year i knew it wouldnt be sustainable if i did get promotion so bowed out. some people wont like the waiting and thinking.
yeh i hear you as there are so many bot teams and with teams that get relegated all going to different divisions it means they will likely top the diviision and miss out on a good draft pick.

its not a function i can see being added though unfortunately as it would only make a significant difference to small countries like us.
